I find this quote offensive in so many ways. let's see if i can list them. 1) you don't know my wife. (nor will you ever with that attitude). but a few points. a) my wife is a huge football fan. so i don't have to deal with the (not now honey i'm watching the game shit). she's watching it with me. 2) do i watch chick flicks wth my wife... of course i do... same as she watches guy movies with me. alot of chick flicks aren't to bad to watch either. after spending 60+ hrs at my office a week.... if i can spend 2hrs with my wife just curled up on the couch watching a "chick flick" then i'm happy as a clam because i dont' see her alot during the week. 3) dude i can pretty much tell that you're relationships dissolved because of you... not them.... relationships and marriage are given and take.... you're in your 40's i can't believe this fact has escaped you this long. 4) i can't tell you the last movie i went to see... but i enjoy renting alot of indy films without the gun play. try it you might learn something. 5) is tarinusofgaul your dungeons and drangons name? do you still have the 12 sided dice?

Yesterday after work I sat and listened to two "civillians" (I don't know what else to call 'em) bitching about having to go see a chick flick with their old ladies and how they wanted to go see an action flick.... LOL... One of the attorneys is a good friend of mine and when I started laughing, he asked me what I would do. I told him I wouldn't go see no chick flick and that the worse thing about chick flicks is that there is no gunfire or explosions to drown out the noise when you groan or try to gnaw through your own wrists.... LOL... My buddy said, "Well, I don't want to wind up alone" to which I pointed out that I was engaged once for five years and that in that time I kissed a ton of @$$ and saw a crapload of chick flicks and attended more than one mind numbingly boring sports event with my significant other to make her happy and at the end of it all, I was still alone and would have been better off had I refused to kiss @$$ like all the other wimps out there. There is nothing so sad as when you go to the theater to enjoy some slam bang popcorn movie and you see some young dude there with a hottie getting tickets for the chick flick staring longingly at the poster of the shoot-em-up you are going to see, LOL...

In the past ten years I have been in two long term relationships, five and three years and about three shorter term relationships. They just didn't work out. One chick was just a pathological liar and I couldn't take it any more. The other one was frigid and I couldn't take that either. In all honesty, I took enough $#!+ off both of 'em to last me a lifetime. The other three just didn't work out either. Maybe its me. Maybe its' them, I don't know and I don't care. I'm middle age and single and I am pretty much set in my ways, dude. I just don't have it in me to kiss a lot of @$$ and take the $#!+ that my married buddies always piss and moan about. Several years ago it dawned on me that instead of looking for long term relationships that didn't seem to work, maybe I should just enjoy being on my own. Of course I have a tremendous sex drive. I have been with married women in the past who had impotent husbands in open relationships. I got to thinking, why not find married couples who are after a third wheel for sexual fun without all the complications, or single chicks who are into NSA fun. Unfortunately, most were fakes. A couple were into the "keeping score" thing and the "cuckold fantasy" which was not my thang either.
