Soul mates_42, I'm the same way when I rejected them, which is why I was VERY CAREFUL with my wording. I'm not a douche bag or a jerk with a big ego so why should I sound like one?

We (I) have been rejected twice by a single male. Both times they seemed reluctant to say "not interested" and I told them both the same thing...it's OK to say thanks but no. I get it. I'm not every guys type. I have curves and there's more of me to hold onto than some guys prefer. I don't take it personally and respect guys who are honest enough to say how they feel. jmo

The first time we were rejected by an SM, I won't lie,my ego was bruised. It was one thing to get rejected by a couple, you share the rejection with your partner, but a straight SM rejection was imo solely directed at me. I got over it quickly when I came to the realization that they too have play preferences, aside from just the physical, that we dont meet.C'est a swinging vie.

For me it's about the experience. If the initial contact sparks an interest there is a good chance I'll want to chat and then meet. I know what attracts me and if it's not there I'll respectfully decline the offer. Those who believe that all single males are desperate and will do anything or anyone to get laid are misinformed in my opinion. I'll continue to be selective by choice as I enjoy the lifestyle and the new experiences that it brings.

Orion, I agree with you. Go ahead and be picky. It's your choice.
I disagree with PP about leaving out certain adjectives. Describe yourself as you wish. I for one, appreciate generous, clean, and disease free. I can't imagine taking his advice to go against your own desires. As many people will be turned on by your selectiveness as turned off - likely more. I for one believe that one should never vote against your own body. I find that my body knows much more than I do. It may pick up on subtle things that my consciousness may not realize until much later. |
