Cheops210: First of all, my condolences for the loss of your loved one and let me assure you that your age has absolutely nothing to do with anything! You sound very confident and from what I see of this picture, you will do fine. Keep your positive attitude, date and move forward. I am pretty sure you will make the right connection soon enough. Be blessed! Your honesty is refreshing.

Having recently found myself a SF, after losing hubby, I thought it would be hard to find men interested in finding someone to share swinging with. The hard part for me is knowing what the new games rules are for SF's. They really are different from couples. Well, hubby used to handle all the contacts so I'm doing that now too.

In my profile I'm upfront what I'm looking for, a swing partner with no commitment. If that changes, I'll let you know, but for now I just want a social life that I can share after the party with someone I enjoy being with. A disadvantage is my age, but I assure you I know women who are still swinging well into their 80's! And one man I loved to be with was 93 when he passed over. Doesn't that give you hope for a full and happy life? Sex isn't everything, but without it, life is dull.

I sympathize with the plight of the SM in the lifestyle, but I assure you, as was mentioned earlier, if you have ever experienced the LS, you will never be happy with a vanilla wife. We had a wonderful marriage of almost 15 years, and swung for the past 14 years until his health prevented him from participating, but he encouraged me to continue and I am... and I never want a vanilla relationship... EVER!

"Those who are truly "swingers" have a philosophy of sex that extends into all their interpersonal relationships."

Spot on as usual Mrs. Sav. There are those who would say I am not a swinger because I have a SM profile but if they saw my couple's profile, Voila! Swinger! I'm the same guy but I happened to be fortunate enough to meet a sexy lady (on this site BTW) who enjoys the LS with me and I definitely enjoy sharing her. We play together and as singles so are we swingers when we play together but not when we play solo? Honestly we don't really care about the label, we are just enjoying ourselves. A lot! ;^D

We met as SM and SF on another, similar site. We have no problem sharing.

"One thing I find interesting is the number of single males on here who have said that once they are in a relationship, they would not want to share their partner. It seems hypocritical to me."

Nic I have always said swinging isn't an action it is an attitude. Many singles, both male and female are here merely to fulfill an itch until they meet Mr/ Mrs Right. Most of them probably will never confess to being a member here or their activities. Those who are truly "swingers" have a philosophy of sex that extends into all their interpersonal relationships. Swinging for them is a natural extension of their sexual desires. They most likely would seek a like minded partner to establish a relationship with and fully intend to continue swinging. Any man or women for that matter who would not willingly and eagerly share their partner, under the right circumstances is in my OPINION is not a swinger , just a player.

Nic: IMO, hypocrite is the nice way of saying it. They are haters on the DL.

I think most men like the idea of having other women shared with them.

The number of men willing to share their woman, however, seems to be even less than women willing to share their man.
