But wanted to address this sentence: There are easy ways to discern who is there for a quick lay, and who is truly involved in the lifestyle. Swinging is about getting laid, no ifs, no buts about it. I don't understand anyone that claims that it's a lifestyle. It's not. You are articulate, you write clearly, you express yourself well. Upload flattering pictures. You seem to be very clear about what you want, though it isn't a relationship/love website, I do believe that you'll find what you seek. You have several advantages going for you, as I mentioned earlier, you are articulate, you know what you want, most importantly, you have youth. Be patient. FYI- I don't believe in mentoring or looking up to someone who appears to be more successful when it comes to swinging. Perhaps I'm an anomaly, but I don't do that whole, reputable single male thing, I find that to be a huge turn off. I would rather swing with a guy with no certs, than a guy that comes highly recommended by an army that had sex with him prior to me. I just don't want to know.

IMO actively and openly searching for a female "partner in the lifestyle" you come across as either desperate or typical, or better phrased: typically desperate. From talking with my female friends there are hundreds and hundreds of single guys who write to single girls on here asking them if they want to swing together. Guess what most girls do when faced with such a common proposition, they tune those guys out. If finding a partner, who shares your love of polyamorous sex, is what you really want, just let it happen naturally and enjoy the process. You're far more likely to find someone of this type from inside the lifestyle than from quickly turning a vanilla to the dark (and more fun) side. Sure that might happen over time but it sounds like you're in a hurry. Like has already been mentioned, attend M&G's, go to parties, enjoy the lifestyle, hook up with a couple or two, flirt, chat, go on some dates with single girls from the site and gasp don't proposition them at the end of the date. Just because they might want to fuck you doesn't mean they want to repeatedly date you or become your lifestyle partner.

User Details are only visible to members.	First. Listen to Nic. He could teach classes on how to be a successful single male in the lifestyle. I also agree with him on your age. Most girls your age are looking for a husband not a swing partner. I know from my experiences I would never have been open to the LS in my twenties. I know some girls are but it makes it harder for you. I met my partner here so the site does work to meet partners but again age might hamper you. But good luck. Read a lot and take the advice from guys like Nic. They know what they are talking about. Lose any cockiness and just be a gentleman. It counts! Deb

If you are really serious about enjoying the LS as a single, read through the dozens (hundreds?) of threads dedicated to being a succesful single male. Rule one: Never whine or complain. lol Attitude goes a long way and I might add, so does networking which means attending M&Gs and parties and yes, getting certified. Of course YOU know you are real but until a hot couple sings your praises, your profile will not even be seen by many on this site. Good luck and have fun!
