| Hello esteemed colleagues and neighbors. We need some advice. I (the Mr.) lOVE to cook, in fact I consider it a strong point. My question is, what's a good (impressive) meal that will dazzle our new unicorn, but won't leave us all bloated and logy before the fireworks kick in? Keep in mind, I can cook anything. I do a wicked filet in a peppercorn brandy mustard sauce, and some amazing Italian, but all of my "trademark" dishes aren't exactly..flexibility friendly. |

We prefer to just do drinks and maybe light munchies before play. Seems to work better that way without full bellies. We eat afterwards once we've worked up an appetite ;-)

It was funny Fav Color many just cant laugh at themselves.
I dont meet people at their homes, I dont want them to feed me. I will go to dinner at a restaurant for a meal the first time I meet someone but I wont be playing as I dont play on first meets. To whoever posted about "always sexy to feed your partners, ahhh no its not. |

Nope, not a big deal at all.
We just see it differently, that's all. Hopefully the OP will note that using that particular term can be demeaning to some (I was a single female in the lifestyle once and that was one of the biggest turn-offs I came across, being referred to as somebody's unicorn). |

Fav Color, what I read into his word choice was anticipation of a long term relationship with the single woman. How would we know what arrangements they've already made?
I didn't take his comments as chest thumping. They may have been exhibiting a bit more self pride than average, but he also opened up a conversation with the rest of us by asking for ideas. No big deal. |

Not trolling, I just find it interesting that you brag about your cooking skills.....
"love to cook" "strong point" "can cook anything" and yet you feel the need to solicit advice for a meal to cook "OUR NEW UNICORN"? Sounds a weeee bit like chest thumping to me, hence the sarcasm. That and I find it a demeaning term when it's used in the proprietary way you do. There's so many other terms to use.... single female, girlfriend, gal pal to name a few, that humanize your potential playmate and make her sound less like an object that you so much want to have. Welcome to the forums. |

Oh, giggle at Favorite_Color! I can't say if the OP was being pretentious or not but the mental image your post conjured was priceless.
