Just a piece of advice. For the love of all that is holy, if you're contacting someone for the first time via email, say something more than just "How are you?". I can't speak for others, but I find it annoying as hell to get mono-syllabic no-effort emails. Doesn't have to be a novel either. At the very least, tell me WHY you wanted to reach out. "You're funny/cute/sexy and we'd love to get acquainted." etc. It AIN'T that difficult.
Yeah, I just got one like that today. Maybe I'm just an insensitive prick....
