When invited to a private party with by a couple you have never met, is it ok to inquire who else is coming so that you can check out their profiles as well ?

User Details are only visible to members.	What makes one think that all attending a play party are members of sls or any other site for that fact. I would say a good 70% that attend our parties are people we have met at clubs, M&G's and other house parties. Many do not belong to a swing site. I say just go, if you don't like the crowd you can always leave. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

User Details are only visible to members.	rabbitnbunny I respectfully disagree. True you will never have anything tailor made for you unless you pick everyone yourself. And I don't think anyone expects that sort of thing. But I do like knowing who is going. For instance, not too long ago we were going to a hotel party in SA. We looked at the guest list, looked pretty good so we rsvp'd to go. A few days before the party a friend of mine calls me and says you need to be sure to stay away from such and such couple. They have been told to leave 2 house parties I have attended, he has issues. Had they not seen that this couple was coming they would have shown up blind so to speak. So we do appreciate seeing guest lists very much.

User Details are only visible to members.	I was using the massage group as an example. Many groups have parties with specific expressed or implied protocols. I am aware of bi expected groups we do not attend parties with, which is our choice. Many parties and groups of friends have set ways of doing things. I personally enjoy the long tease of massaging 4 to 6 different female types and knowing all of them are there for further exploration later. And when it's my turn, 8 to 12 hands, lotion, soft female flesh touching me everywhere at once, it is a small piece of nirvana. My suggestion is always get a guest list, talk to the host about what is expected or normally happens, if any of this makes you uncomfortable don't go.

Eventually, if you go to local house parties, it does get to be a comfortable circle of the same people, with maybe a new couple here and there, so we don't usually ask, as long as we know the hosts well enough. I don't know where I'm getting my run on sentences lately... We're attending a pool party this weekend and the hosts are people we know but haven't yet played with (hope to, but it's hard sometimes to play w/ the hosts at any party, esp if a bigger one), but that's ok. We know some of the couples who are coming also, and that's just fine with us. We meet some new people sometimes, and we find that the surprises are wonderful. If not, then we already know we'll have a good time with the people we already know. Gina

The group that Azands describes isn't for me but if it were a small, close knit group where like others said I'd play with any of them I would not mind. But walking in blind so to speak no frickin way. But again, thats why variety is the spice of life I suppose. Like two said, I'm picky. There is no way I would ever expect to play with everyone unless I personally said invite this one and that and that one and this one. Then we'll see lol. Group play when in a controlled environment can be a blast, we did one and it was soooo much fun. But a huge group of strangers is just not my style. Shell

We used to feel that if we knew the host & hostess personally and had played with them before and liked them enough to value their friendship, then we could trust their judgment on the friends they would invite. We learned otherwise. Sooner or later their guest llists expand to include people we wish were NOT there, and even once in a while to include someone we actively disliked because of their rude behavior at a party. So now we won't go without knowing the guest list in advance, and if the "disliked one" is on the guest list we will cancel. No sense having our evening ruined by the boorish behavior of someone who has demonstrated an inability to accept no as an answer. We can always stay home and have fun with each other, or just invite a couple we know we both like. Jim
