Guy just tried to jump on the mrs without a condom and was univited. Myself and another gentleman removed right after he got a knee in the balls from the mrs. I have seen drugs at parties, but i find it hard to believe someone would drug anyone at a sex party in order to have sex seems like it would be counter productive... some times i drug myself with viagra so i can have sex.

If 99 percent of the people here have never heard of this then it is probably not happening at least not in the swinging community. Groping is another story especially at the clubs

User Details are only visible to members.	Lost J-1, Your reference to Date Rape drugs although accurate in numbers did not report where the drugs were found to be given. I am in Military Law Enforcement and we get training about drugs regularly. Yes believe it or not there are people dumb enough in the military to try drugs, or try to make fast cash by selling or transporting drugs. Most common place to find such drugs (date rape, ecstacy, acid) is at what are called Raves. The companies that promote Raves tend to be the source of the illicite drugs. The possesion of these drugs in itself is a felony offense. Raves are in no way associated with swinging. Although the possibiility exist that this can happen at swinger events, I'm sure that possibility is much less than in general public. Swingers tend to take care of each other. Swinger clubs tend to strongly enforce no drug rules. Swinger clubs that have bad reputations are generally managed wrong, and have the wrong mindset. They are running the club as though it is a business, rather than a place for consenting adults to have fun. There are those that will use swinging as a business, and not what it really is. I say no matter what environment you are in, always be aware of your surroundings. Sorry for the long rant folks.

User Details are only visible to members.	No. I've never seen or heard of date rape drugs being used at swing venues. There is no need. ;) Regarding groping. Put your hands on me without my permission and find out how quickly I have your thumb bent back and you are outed to the bouncer. I've found bouncers VERY responsive. I go to clubs as a single. They want me there and feeling safe. They tolerate no shenanigans. M. ( one reasons she likes swing clubs.)

I guess you can say never heard it happen, but yet it still does. Too many people out here still and try and paint this bright and rosey pictures of swinging or lifestyle. Like saying you never heard or known any one with aids or hiv right? Of an estimated 106 million emergency department (ED) visits in the U.S. during 2004, the Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN) estimates that 1,997,993 were drug-related. DAWN data indicate that MDMA was involved in 8,621 ED visits; GHB was involved in 2,340 visits; rohypnol was involved in 473 visits; and ketamine was involved in 227 visits Date rape drugs are substances which cause a victim to pass out so they cannot resist what is being done, and they will not be able to recall what happened to them either. Most date rape drugs are colorless, odorless and tasteless or have taste that can be masked so that they can easily be slipped into a victims drink without the victim noticing. Two of the most commonly used date rape drugs are Rohypnol and GHB. There are also many drugs out there which mimic the effects of these two drugs. These drugs were initially used as recreational drugs at clubs and raves, but soon became used to incapacitate victims for the purpose of sexual assault. In most cases the victim will have no memory of what happened, but will have the physical symptoms of having sexual intercourse. Sometimes the victim will intermittently wake up during the assault and have partial memories of it. Either way, the victim usually wakes up very confused and simply assumes that they had had too much to drink and blacked out. Rape victims where date rape drugs were used are even less likely to report the crime than other rape victims. They often feel responsible because they feel as if they simply drank too much, and they can't remember anything that actually happened. The effects of the drugs can also last for a few days after the assault, which causes the victim to not be able to think clearly. By the time they do think to report what happened all of the evidence might be gone making the crime extremely difficult to prosecute. In 1996 the Drug Induced Rape Prevention and Punishment Act was passed to try to combat the use of these date rape drugs. This makes it a felony to give a controlled substance to anyone with the intent of committing sexual assault or any other crime. People convicted of rape using a date rape drug may be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison and people simply possessing Rohypnol or other date rape drugs can be sentenced to up to 3 years JAY!!!!!

Caution is never a bad thing though, keep your drink in your hand or with a friend at all times. Being pro-active is never a bad thing, but I have never spoken with anyone that attended a party where it actually happened. Shelly

User Details are only visible to members.	Never hear of it either, I used to be a regular at a club in San Diego and they have very firm rules about treatment of women. The offending person was quickly escorted out of the club, and banned from returning. As for drugs, there have been couples that have brought in a joint, and they were asked to leave also. Clubs generaly do not tolerate rude behavior, or drugs if they are on premise clubs. Usually those that are on premise tend to be watched closely by athorities and want to maintain a clean reputation. As for people getting drunk, yes the club was BYOB that allowed single men and women as well as the couples. It's easy to spot the younger ones that don't understand that being drunk and naked don't go together. People get turned off by drunks quick.
