My normal "uniform" at work is a golf shirt, slacks, dress socks and dress shoes. My secretaries and I were talking the other day and said I should try jeans for once....so I did today. I wore my boot cut Calvin Klein jeans and an untucked blue/green/white checked button down with blue Nike's. And both of them are raving how great the look is compared to what I normally wear. I share that to say this... when going to clubs/dates with couples, I was under the impression it was inappropriate to wear jeans. They know we're in the LS and said that the look was 10x better than what I normally wear and that I should do it when meeting up with other couples.
So are jeans/untucked button downs ok to wear...or too informal for a club/date? The last club we went to advertised no jeans and there were tons of jeans, cargo shorts....we were seriously overdressed. But what is the general consensus on jeans in the LS? Thanks!
