User Details are only visible to members.	We would consider "down to earth" to mean someone who is well grounded in reality. Someone not into heavy spirituality or the occult. Someone who knows the difference between reality and fantasy. Someone who is comfortable eating in a family restaurant and staying in a hotel room that costs less than $100 a night. Someone who doesn't insist that only a 5-star restaurant or hotel is good enough for them and even then gripes that the food or the accommodations just don't measure up to their high-falutin' standards. Someone who doesn't try to impress you by name-dropping or citing all the "in" places where they hang out or vacation (we always get the impression that people trying that hard to impress us are really trying to convince THEMSELVES!). In other words, to us "down to earth" people are folks that don't make us feel uncomfortable, or that they are trying to impress us, or make us feel like they've "gone off the deep end." In short, people just exactly like US!!!! ROFL Jim

User Details are only visible to members.	in my opinion,a down to earth person is someone who is easy to talk to.Someone who is a regular person,not out to change the world but to allow people the chance and choice to make up their own minds. someone who is not down to earth would be someone who feels only their opinion is valid and everyone must listen to it and agree to it. that is my opinion of what the term means hope to talk to everyone soon smiling as always bill of the bill and tina couple eternalbliss

Those that can communicate with any walk of life where all feel included ,wanted and needed there at that time.Those that accept your preferences as that ,preferences .Just nice people who do not have try to be seen, they just are, due to their nature.Those that do not flaunt their standing in society.

"Down to earth" is honestly a cliche of the lifestyle, there are many of them out there, "Ken and Barbie", "Looking to explore", "Looking to explore" and I am sure that the list goes on for days. It isn't a bad thing, but it is a cliche of the lifestyle. Honestly you may interpret the phrase as you wish, as long as you don't have a world wide web connection on the planet of Saturn, in which case look for those profiles that state that they are down to [choose your planet here]. I suspect what they are meaning but not iterating in any terms is the fact that they would like to meet a level headed couple, whom are not into drama, not into a lot of the BS, and a lot of the other things. User Details are only visible to members.	I consider us "down-to-earth" kind of people. To me that means, easy to get along with, no wierd hang-ups, just everyday "joe blow" kind of people. People that work every day (whether it outside or behind a desk, etc..), have goals in life, are confident in themselves and ambitious, but don't come across as "I'm better than you" when you say hi to them... I hope everyone enjoyed my 2cents:)
