The real meaning is that April, 20th is when you want to plant before summer. Yes, it also is a police code. But, it is a reminder to plant your herb, during this time for a good crop. I don't smoke the stuff anymore, but don't have a problem with people that do. Sometimes my memory is bad DAMN I FORGOT WHAT I WAS GOING TO SAY! LOL

The "420" term came from the California Senate Bill 420 (colloquially known as the Medical Marijuana Program Act. It was passed in 2003. April 20 (04-20) is just the day that it is celebrated for passing a state senate.
