Do you find it rude when you are out with a couple for dinner and all thru dinner they are constantly sending and receiving text messages?"
I find that rude in any circumstance. I hate it when I am at lunch with friends and they sit there talking on the phone or texting. Very rude in any context. Given like others we of course have our phones because of the sitter or our daughter....but when I worked in a doctor's office patients would literally be so rude as to answer the phone when she was talking to them LOL. |

We keep our cell on in case the sitter needs to reach us. Unless we receive a call and we haven't yet we never touch it. We were at aparty where nearly everyone was texting constantly we found it rude and a party killer.

We have been out with couples that text while out with us.. but as long as it not every 5mins.. no big deal.. I the male text alot my self.. but it's job related..

We don't find reading texts to be rude if they share and it's funny. replying more then once is rude.
It's doesn't happen much but does on occasion. |

We are text junkies, but this does seem a little rude if you're out with another person/couple and can't put the phone down.
