TOPIC: Stuck in the middle

We are finding ourselves in kind of a weird spot. We feel like we are too old for the young crowd and too young for the old crowd. I know that early 30's isn't old but its hard finding that middle group that we feel we would click with in our area. Don't enjoy the bouncy club scene, don't like dive bars. Strip clubs are fun, and we haven't been to a lifestyle club yet but we intend to! Also it seems tough to find couples that we are in league with. Meaning most of the profiles we would be attracted to seem like they're TOO hot for us, and we feel intimidated. The others are just not up to our standards (not that we have set them unreasonably high), we would like couples around our age and weight basically. Not drop dead gorgeous, but at sexy. I guess what I'm asking is how do most people go about contacting others? We haven't had much luck getting responses. Are we just not up to par? Would welcome your thoughts and opinions. Ed and Kel

User Details are only visible to members.	Dont look at age at all! I like to read a profile, look at pics and then if we are intetested talk to them. When we first started i didnt want a guy over 30! Now we have been with couples 19-48ish and its all about personality! And a hot body helps too ;). And dont always judge by the pictures posted. Some time people are better/worse looking in person. See you have a cert now so hope your problems are solved but had to give some hints from a couple who had simular problems at first.

And frankly, we are in better shape than a lot of the folks that we meet. As an earlier poster said, we also prefer to stay within + or - a few years of us. Damned few plusses left anymore, though. <sigh>

User Details are only visible to members.	Thanks for all the feedback. You all have given us some things to think about. I suppose it is a lot harder than it appears to be to find compatibility. We don't put ourselves on any kind of a pedestal what so ever, just looking for the in between. We are both trying to get in better shape these days, for our own sake not anyone else. Of course the benefit goes both ways, feeling better and looking better! We aren't too hung up on age, but as someone said we don't want to feel like we're out with our parents, just trying to find that nice medium. Not going to get discouraged, and just keep tossing that lure into the water, so to speak! lol

I worked with a girl who got annoyed with me because she said she demands that a man be thin.....and she is not obese, but she is damn sure not skinny either. I was like don't you think that is rude, that you hold a man to a standard you do not hold yourself to? She did not like that.

It reminds me of a joke a Comedian told. He said he was taking with a women who told him if he lost 30lbs he would be a good looking guy, he told her if he lost 30lbs he would be talking to her, pointing to the sexy blond at the bar.

Couple/couple play is alot more challenging than people think. It is quite the challenge, finding the ability to have 4 people who are attracted equally. Number one, do not be intimidated. Given, I can be a hypocrite in this. I have had single guys, 25 years old...email me. Perfect body, washboard abs....won't lie, my first question is "why would a guy that looks like you want a 39 year old woman with stretch marks and saggy titties" LOL. It IS intimidating. However, remember this.....we ALL have issues. Even us Divas that look oh so put together and every hair is in it's place...we are usually the ones with the MOST issues lol, thats why we go to such great pains to look good. They very well may be thinking the same about you. It does not hurt to send a friendly email saying hey hey...etc. And remember, have fun!!!

We have had trouble finding couples locally in our age group to play with, most of our hook ups have been with couples in the 35-40 year old group. We actually meet and played with a couple that were 31, after we ate and walked out of the restaurant, I told my wife it felt like we just had dinner with our kids...lol. We take things as they come, some people don't want older, experienced couples and that is fine with us. So don't worry about the age things, just have some fun.
