TOPIC: Need opinions on sending a had a great weekendnote

We need some help and opinions. Weekend before last we met a couple while we were in FL that we hit it off with and had a WONDERFULsat. night. (We also hung out with them, met his mom, and watched fireworks together.) They were down there from New England and we live in Ohio. We all traveled home at different times. She left that sunday, Paul and I left this sunday and her husband will be home later today. While we got to say good-bye and I sent her a short e-mail checking on her trip home, (she replied it was ok and that they hoped to get together again, too) we would like to send them a short letter telling them how much we enjoyed ourselves, how much we enjoyed them and how beautiful we find them and especially her. Should we send this type of letter? Our reservations stem from the fact that they have 2 small kids (both of whom we met.) and her sister and 2 nieces live with them, privacy may be at a premium. There is also that "what happens in Vegas" mentality. We don't want to seem pushy, but we would like this couple to know that they are really special to us. This couple is not actively in the lifestyle (but this was not their first time) and they weren't looking to hook up, it just all clicked. Please let me know if you would send this type of letter, or if you would appreciate receiving one like it, or if it would tend to push you away. Thanks in advance for the help!

User Details are only visible to members.	Thanks Gina, The card is written and sent. Paul ended up talking to him last evening, so they are expecting something in the mail. People e-mail everything from missing pets to laundry lists these days, I wanted something more personal. Its odd that I was thinking about the "real name/fake name" thing this morning. If you change it how drastically? Do you accidentally implicate or embarrass someone else if you pick the wrong fake name? What about just initials? Just random musings of a stifled artist at 4:30am.

We've sent and received thanks through actual letter writing, cards, whatever, and yes, it's good advice to keep it simple and definitely not sexual-specific. They know. And it will be appreciated. What you say on paper should be something you wouldn't mind having read by anyone. We could also say the same thing about emails, but paper does tend to get filed here and there. Within that realm, of course, are people like me who don't mind putting my life on paper. Details sometimes too! And here I am struggling with the dilemma of using "real names" in what I write to be published, or not. But that's me. I am one of the few left who actually like writing letters, so I would advise Yes to the card or short note and just say how much you enjoyed meeting and spending time with your new friends and leave out the details. User Details are only visible to members.	Thanks, Blue, Actually seeing them again is a definate possibility/probability. Paul and I travel for work so there is a likelyhood of being up in their area. Also, the catalist that brought us together was working on a fireworks show that all of us will be working on again next year. So the probability is fairly high.
