TOPIC: Is this considered standard practice or just plain rude

Hi room, We have been in the lifestyle for about 6 years on and off so we believe we know what to expect but of course you never do. Our question is this, when you are in the process of developing a "special friendship" what is the e-mail etiquette? A male contacted us saying he was interested. We read his profile and believed we had a lot in common so we set up a face-to-face meeting with him. We met this gentleman for a drink and really enjoyed his company. Here is the problem he writes us e-mails and we respond and he does not always write us back, then three weeks later he writes us and wants to know if we would like to get together for dinner we write back and say what dates are you available and we get no response? We have given him a few benefits of the doubt but to tell you the truth we find this quite rude! Are we being too sensitive? We just feel if someone does not have the common courtesy or time to write us back a simple e-mail then why should we take the time to get to know him or her?

User Details are only visible to members.	I'm with DaringDuo on this. The vibes are that he's not being totally forthcoming ... or he's just careless and inconsiderate. Either way, I'd ask him 'wassup with that?' and see how he responds. If you turned it around and someone had concerns with you, you'd want them to ask you about it wouldn't you? I am a very suspicious person and to me he may be hiding something such as he is attached and being so careful as to not use a home or office computer so he checks in whenever he can on the flip side play may be on the bottom of his list of things he enjoys and dont want to come off as pushy or overly enthusiastic. perhaps you should discuss your thoughts with him.

User Details are only visible to members.	Different people have different styles in the way they deal with others. Personally, I don't screen personal or business calls (I prefer to pick up the phone), play cyber games, or delay responses. That is just the way I'm wired. That does not have to be the way that others are wired. So, this guy's behavior is weird from my perspective. That is not the way I would handle the situation. That is not to say that it is uncommon or wrong. It's just the way this guy operates. If he is not responsive to you, just find somebody else. Be patient and you will.

User Details are only visible to members.	He may be busy, he could do this for recreation, he could also be otherwise attatched to another. If it is something that annoys you, You may want to move on. If you are ok with this then you may have to accept that this is how things are . Remember we all move to the beat of our own Drum, and this may be his step.....
