Why is it that when you plan a House party and try to accomadate everybody invoved, that alot of people just get attitudes as to the who what or when of it. And then you end up getting so frustrated that you just call the whole thing off?

User Details are only visible to members.	You cannot accomodate everyone. You do the best you can. The last one we went to was fantastic. They had all kinds of different liquor (I was shocked that they provided so much and we only had to pay a $15 donation) and mixers; they had some hot foods and cold. It was great. You can never please everyone. In my opinion if you are a particular eater such as being vegan or very picky you should bring your own or say something beforehand. Anyways, we just love house parties. They are tons of fun. Shelly

User Details are only visible to members.	We host a party once a month or more. We know everyone cumming and all are fine with the fact that they are not assured of playing. If any friends want to bring someone that is the only way we let a new couple in. So far everyone has respected each other with no drama. Many like to know who is all cumming but think that is just out of human curiosity. We never charge but ask that you bring something to share like snacks or party supplies. We have tried having dinner but some ate to much and didn`t feel like playing so we now keep the eating on the lighter side. We are not into the club scene and feel house parties are the way to go.

User Details are only visible to members.	We have a house party every couple of months. They started out slow with a low attendance, but grew rapidly as time went on. We have the same themed parties each year at the same time and people have started planning way ahead to attend. We almost always have themes to our parties to make them more fun, ie. Halloween costume, Mardi-Gras, Formal Dress, pool party w/ loau theme, etc. We usually ask everyone to bring a bottle and either a snack or a dish, unless we have planned a dinner party then we do all the food. Making up the invitation list from people who have similar profiles and good certifications helps assure that people will interact with each other better. We also invite about 20% more people than we want to attend to cover the no shows. Remember things happen, babysitters bail, time of the month for the ladies, illness, work schedules change. etc. You want to have plenty of people attend to up the chances people will click with someone. Then just relax and let your party run it's course, don't try and force things to happen. Good Luck, Treatforher

The main problem that we had was that some of the cpls would not come unless another came, or if we didn't serve dinner till 7pm they cldn't make it, or if we weren't having surf and turf they cldn't possibly make it, just a nightmare. On the brighter side we did end up with a much smaller party than we wanted but it was such a blast...till like 6am the following morning. Dave and I would like to thank all of you who responded your advice and experience was such a great help

We started out though, at a local winery, flirting, tasting, getting to know people (we knew everyone except one couple, actually, that came with other friends of ours). Everyone knew the sls profile name and email addresses of everyone else. Plus I sent several emails with "fantasies" I'd heard people wanted to try, teasers, info, and just a "pump you up" line of exposition in each email. We had time back at our house after the wine tasting, then had rented a party bus for a night on the town, ending back at our house, with couples doing what they wanted to do, and WHO they wanted to do. There are never any expectations about the sex...well, we expect to have it, but you know what I mean. There was a general area near the kitchen where guests could get drinks, water, snacks, take a break and just talk, etc. One lady brought us all a small gift basket, was VERY thoughtful, with candles, a little hand towel, cute stuff. There was an incident of drama, but it was handled, and the night went on. I tend to "oversee" and make sure everyone else is having a good time, but at this party, I also enjoyed myself quite well. NOw, we need to try GOING to one. GIna.

User Details are only visible to members.	Just remember, som, you have no obligation to play with ANYONE at the party. With luck, you'll meet someone who strikes sparks in you and have hot wild sex. More likely, you'll not want to play with some attendees, and others you won't be sure of. Get at least 1st names and either phone # or email address of those couples and contact them after the party to set up a private dinner date where you will have a couple of hours to get better acquainted (and swap swinging stories). We have found if we aren't clicking with anyone at a party and just go upstairs together and play by ourselves, we have a good time. And sometimes that leads to connecting with others we hadn't figured were interested in us. Consider your 1st party as a meet & greet with possibilities, and you'll be OK. Jim

User Details are only visible to members.	It's a pretty simple thing to host a party. Invite only your own friends, i.e., couples you already know and have enjoyed. When attending someone else's parties, it most certainly does help to know who is going to be there. The best party hosts we know (nnvacouple) always send out an email indicating who has said they will attend, who is a tentative, and who declined. They also send out a list of house rules. That almost always assures there won't be any grabbing without permission. Even so, we look for at least 3 other couples we already know and have enjoyed. Our experience is that if there are at least 3 options for us for sure, then we are certain to have a good party. Jim
