I am very active and have a lot of swing friends. My single lady friends like to show me the emails they receive on SLS. They are a scream! They do receive a lot of boorish, clumsy, inarticulate messages from single males with no pics with whom they have no intention of meeting. However, I was surprised to see a greater number of equally boorish, clumsy, inarticulate messages from couple profiles that start off "Hey, this is the male half of ...". Are these losers simply single males with couple profiles, or are they truly couple profiles in which the man is using his lady as bait?

I think it can go both ways... for instance, my wife is extremely shy, and we do not play seperate, but i am tasked with finding couples, creating rapport, and then showing her pics and debriefing her for her to decide if she is in... then once i do that, we set up a meet... but i often start IM conversations like that... many couples dont want to talk to the male, but i dont ahve the choice and i am not going to pretend that she is here, just for closed minded people... however, on the other side of things, there are lots of men that have couples profiles, and pics of women, but do it to pic collect and get their rocks off... it is really hard to tell the real from the fake when it comes to this! i donno... could go either way!
