And yes, the "friend" is not to be seen, word got around about her being a drama queen without my having said a word. And really, sometimes you are just going to be badmouthed LOL. Who cares really, they do not control who you are or where you are going in this life...so for me, I really don't give a shit.

User Details are only visible to members.	MrcMnq ~ Yikes! That stinks. If you've asked them (I'm assuming via email) and gotten no response, just let it go for the time being. Often times the best way to prove someone wrong is simply to be a class act. Don't bring it up w/ other people. Don't bad mouth them. If anyone asks you about things that they have said, politely and quickly explain that they aren't true (or whatever the situation is) and move onto the next topic. People's reputations catch up with them. Unless one of you unknowingly greatly overstepped some boundaries, I imagine that this isn't the first time that this couple has stirred the pot. It just may be the first time that this group has seen it. Word travels fast about people like that ~ and it's usually from their own mouth. In general, people don't like drama or gossips ~ and by in general, I mean vanilla life. In the lifestyle, that kind of stuff is poison. If someone will say it to you about someone else, they will say it about you to someone else. Don't let it discourage you. Chalk it up as a learning experience. And if ya run into them ~ take Shell's advice! ;)

User Details are only visible to members.	Yeah, its a hard call. I know with one wife, from the minute I met her and her friend they hated my guts. I have no idea what the issue is with her and her friend...but they would like to take me hunting with Dick Cheney hahaha. And I received word that she was talking shit. And I knew that this was the truth, not gossip. And I did like Carrie. I sent her a discreet email, just to her. I told her that if I had offended her I did apologize...but she did not know me well enough to make a determination on my character like that...and I asked her kindly to please stop talking shit behind my back. Well...the first thing she did was go to the woman that she told the shit to and they got into a huge ass fight. Because remember, sometimes kindness and a smile is more sharp than a fight. Now she knew she looked like a jealous wife...and women HATE looking like a jealous wife. She apologized to me and I said it would not be mentioned again...and it wasn't. I do take great joy though still, when we see each other at M&Gs and hug. Remember, sometimes tactful kindness is more strategic than cussing and hair pulling :0).

You don't have to mention them bad mouthing but you can tell them you noticed they aren't talking to you anymore. You might find it was just a simple misunderstanding. Carrie

Unfortunately for us, when I did in fact confront the couple who had been cowardly slandering Kaitlan behind our backs, less than 6 months later when we signed up for a local party, we found ourselves completely blackballed from every group and party in Dallas. This was 3 years ago and although we have been reinstated into every group we had belonged the damage is still present and we still feel the sting of unfair judgement from others. Steve...and Kaitlan

Just because your single and have a vagina, gives you no right to send poison pen letters to innocent people who have nothing to do with a situation long past! I do not think that this person is doing it because they are single and have a vagina. They are doing it because they are a whackadoo. If a person sent that type of poison email to us, we would block them. Not the people they are complaining about. When you meet whackadoos like that, run, and run fast!

User Details are only visible to members.	southwind I have the same issue with a single in this area. I don't know what to tell you. Your friends know who you are...so when they receive poisonous emails they can either ignore it or tell her about herself.

User Details are only visible to members.	My advice would be to let admin know what the profile is and what was said. If the messages were sent via SLS mail, they go against the terms of use. It's a big playground ~ there's room for all of us, as long as we play nice! ;)

Well enough, while there was negative feelings both ways, we maturely let it go. Over the course of the last 8 months, we KEEP recieving letters from friends and strangers asking us what the problem is with her because they recieve unprovoked spontanious poison pen letters about us! having been in the lifestyle for 18 years, We are liked by some, loved by others and a few dont like us for whatever reason... thats life. Just because your single and have a vagina, gives you no right to send poison pen letters to innocent people who have nothing to do with a situation long past! To spontaniously badmouth people as some vindictive gesture of hatred is unhealthy to everyone involved and a sad mark on the lifestyle. If you dislike someone, simply tell them, keep it between yourselves and LET IT GO!...The last thing the lifestyle needs is this type of drama, pushed upon innocent people. Theres so much positive wonderful things to enjoy, and awesome people to share. Please if you have a problem with someone, keep it between yourselves and dont spread your anger! get over it and Move on!
