Life is so busy these days its hard to find time for each other, much less making time for others. We feel somewhat guilty that the folks we have met keep getting put off and the new people that we'd like to meet never get a chance. I feel that if we actually have some time, that we should just spend it together, but that means that by the time we've had time for ourselves we have no time for others. If there's a question here, its how do you ask for a "night out" if you haven't spent a "night in" for days. Just trying to figure out how this whole work/life balance thing works. Some people just seem to have the key. 11PM and just finished work for the day...sigh

User Details are only visible to members.	Oh it is hard sometimes. But like Carrie said, you do not have to go to a bar or club to spend time. One reason why our children are on a strict 8:00 bedtime is not only so they aren't exhausted...its so Jay and I have time to sit on the couch snuggling without anyone else.

User Details are only visible to members.	Youre right. I kind of got off on a tangent on a frustrating night. Its just hard when you have to do so much to make time, and others dont respect that.

Just happened to catch us on a night that we came home, cleaned the house, took a sick day from the night job, got showered, shaved, and all ready......... Only to get a last minute BS cancel 10 minutes after that person was supposed to be at our house.

User Details are only visible to members.	This is a sore point with us. Only because the "so busy" line is used so much in cases where its BS, that it gets hard to believe who is genuine. My wife stays at home so thats easy. I work 3 jobs 80+ hours a week. So im slightly busy. For me, playing is pretty high up there on my priority list. So I will set something aside to do this. I just say "fuck it, it can wait" and enjoy myself. I have left parties early, rescheduled work, taken a sick day, rescheduled meetings, threw visiting inlaws out of the house and so on. I just cant think of much thats "better to do" than this. its not an everyday thing, but when the opportunity arises, I try to jump on it. This is why we are one of those couples who really get irritated when people flake, or cancel last minute. We're busy too, and it took a lot of work to make ourselves available for that time, so barring an emergency, we;re not too sympathetic.

We love going to our local club we get to dance together (which we love to do) I get to play on their pole, which has a different grip then the one I have here so I get to do some more advanced tricks on it. We get to spend time together in a sex charged atmosphere, if we meet with someone we want to play with or get to know better great, if we not will still have a great time together. We pay for it a bit the next morning when we take care of the horses at 7am after coming in at 3...... PG
