Yup. Been burned so many times. We have all but given up on meeting new folks on SLS. So much fakery. We never contact anyone, and if someone contacts us, only if they clearly are real (multiple certs from profiles with multiple certs) will we bother even to try to get to know them.
That said, we have met two charming couples here just within the past couple of months. So it can happen. But it pays to be very selective. |

Yes, it is common. Not sure why they do it either. Luckily, they are usually easy to figure out.

We're just curious how many of you have encountered fake couples on here. We were communicating with someone and figured out they weren't really a couple after a few emails and they sent pictures that didn't match (none of them a face pic). It seems like a silly thing to do, but I guess it happens on here.
