Just remember....your spouse is your best....so if you are lied to, you are still ahead. And just have a good time. Never take things personally. Just laugh it off...its their loss anyways. People like that tend to have other issues...misery loves company, so you are probably better not being in their company anyways.

We try to be as up front and honest with people as we can. Just had a couple write to us who in their profile say they are looking for athletic people and they list themselves as Moderate. I nicely wrote them back that we are not athletic and there was nothing moderate about us, but if they still wanted to meet we would be more than happy to. We'll see

Oh, even if you'd chatted with them on the phone first, there's no guarantee that they were A) calling from their phone, or B) not giving you a bogus address.

You had the misfortune to run into someone who enjoys playing mind games at other people's expense. The earlier advice to always have a first meeting at a public place (restaurant, park, whatever) is good. That way the inevitable no-show's don't end up spoiling a nice evening or afternoon out for you two and nobody is put on the spot.

Sorry that you were treated so badly. That is almost as bad as being with a couple then finding out their rules are nothing like they told you about before play. You will find all types of dishonesty. This one though ,takes the cake. Good luck on your next play date! |

Yeah...we have NEVER met a new couple at their home since we showed up in club wear...and there were there beautiful children. Oye. That was a learning experience for sure.

That just seems like a whole lot of trouble just to f*&k with you. Sorry to hear that happened, chalk it up to experience.
We always meet in a public place for dinner/drinks first, that way if they don't show we still had an evening out. I would worry about going to someone's house for a first meet, could be scary. Good luck in the future. |
