Thank you seduction. Your response echoes what I was getting at below...though far more gracefully.

people really do this? try to cut in on a dancing couple???? good grief how rude. Glad I have never had that happen. Of course the way I dance you would need a crowbar to get between me and my partner anyway lol.

Those looks come with a bit of confidence in yourself.

The more confident you are in yourself, the better you are able to manuever through any situations without drama.

Sometimes it is good to know how to give the "WTF are you stupid look to someone" and make sure they see it and know it. They will usually get self concious enough and move on.

If that look doesnt work, learn the "smack down look" and make sure the other person see's it.

And if those two fail, just be assertive and keep the one you are with to yourself. You can always wedge yourself back in and move about, letting them know you are in charge of the situation and not them.

Trying to jump in is one thing and is OK (unless you are not taking the hint to get lost). Trying to shove out is another and is never OK.

I wouldn't let anyone shove my wife out. If another woman joined in and my wife felt like wandering off then she actually can use that as a reason to go get a drink or something without abandoning me on the dance floor.

"again though, I'm a Gemini. Maybe that makes a difference."

I'm a Gemini too. I like myself anyway. Fact is, Gemini time is nature's prime time for mammalian births.

Jim :-)

makin, you do not have to make waves and you are right about not starting drama....but sometimes we need "reminders".....again though, I'm a Gemini. Maybe that makes a difference.
