Another vote for "regular" conversation. We've always found it's easier to speak with new couples and establish that we're not skeevy or psychotic. Though admittedly it's easier to randomly bring up "so we've never tried a double-ended dildo"...

We enjoy regular conersation, exciting tavels, hobbies (theatre, foodies, anything), light topic current events. We do prefer topics that are off the mundane and we prefer staying away from talking about kids, unless you're making a joke about them getting the hell out. Think back to typical bar talk as a starter, although I think you can afford to be more 'real' in the lifestyle and show genuine personality.

Exactly. We jut have normal discussion. If you're interested in moving toward sex later in the night, you can ask playful questions. Ask them about how long they've been in the lifestyle, craziest places they've had sex, worst encounters, etc.
There's no trick or secret procedure :) |

Welcome to the forums Satchle; I hope you enjoy yourselves.
Some variation of your question is brought up almost every day, and it always makes me wonder. Why not just use plain old social and conversational skills and go with the flow? It's a mistake to overthink things and throw out basic social graces just because you're having cocktails with swingers rather than "normal" people. |
