Oh My, swinging has become a judgemental issue and it shouldnt have. We as a swinging community should not judge in any case because now a days swinging has broaden its horizons. There are people that become emotionally involved and people let them in. Then there are the others that dont let the emotional ever come into play at all and the ones are all ok with it. Swinging to me is whatever one wants it to be and finds the person or persons to take it to the level.

Opposite side of the coin here.
I'm a single bi-female who was involved with a couple, and dating single men, since I am and plan to continue to be polyamorous, if a man was not ok with me having a sound emotional connection to my lovers, I would not be interested in him. I don't do the whole "emotions get in the way" for me, and for many women (and some men) I know, emotions are what MAKE sex great, the connection enhances the pleasure exponentially. |

Don't get involved.. it just means drama. Most couples wouldn't allow emotional attachments. If I sensed it from a playmate I would immediately cut off the friendship. Emotions = drama

The key to a successful swing relationship is a balance between the dual extremes of (i) emotional dependence, and (ii) complete relational disattachement. If your partner has an emotional attachment to a couple, she needs to deal with that herself. Don't let yourself be dragged into the middle.
