I wonder why some couples are so closed to more mature individuals. Now naturally, we are probably not completely objective on the topic because we are one of those more mature couples. However, maximum age of 50 particularly gets to me. At that age or above, there can be a wide variance to the looks and sexuality of the person. My husband and I are ten years apart in age. Met in person, no one would guess that. Furthermore, having been married to him for many years I can say he was great as a young hardbody and even better now as he approaches 57. Also, anyone can claim to be whatever age they want and unless you're going to ask for a driver's license...... Yesterday, we received two different emails that prompted me to write this. Number one included photos of both people who claimed to be 49 and 50. People age different but if this man is 50, my husband is 29. The second couple's profile listed 50 as maximum desire. Out of courtesy, I wrote back making sure they read our profile and understood hubby was 56. The answer we got was very sarcastic and said they were just trying to weed out the viagra crowd. If you don't know us how do you know my husband doesn't take viagra? We have regular partners who are in their very early thirties and the gentleman does take viagra due to loving the lifestyle but experiencing performance anxiety. I just find it unfortunate that having moved to a new city only a week and a half ago, we see so many people we think we could be friends with that we won't write, especially those that really aren't much younger than us or indeed are older that me, the 46 years old of us. There's my soapbox! Thoughts?

User Details are only visible to members.	Personally, we enjoy people around the same age as us. We feel we have more in common with them, plain and simple. However, we also enjoy the "friendship" aspect of the lifestyle...enjoying drinks, good conversation as a prelude to any sexual activity. We find that flows more easily with people in our general age group. However, there needs to be a physical attraction. I've seen men in their sixties who are well kept and HOT, while I've seen people in their twenties who look like crap~~ LOL !!!! All comes down to the person and comfort level in the end. Age is just another number!!!

User Details are only visible to members.	For us, age is only a frame of mind. Although I believe our cutoff age states 55, we have and will continue to write anyone (over 21) that we feel we would be compatable with, no matter what age.

User Details are only visible to members.	Thanks Mesquite for your very real and reasonable preferences. They make perfect sense and should always be respected. We never write anyone when we do not fit the stated desires in their profiles. Although we have many different types of lifestyle friends, usually we end up having the most fun with the ones most in common with us. I guess I should have clarified that I meant when it appears arbitrary or due to sterotypes and worse yet........when people feel they can't just say "no thanks" but need to put you down while they're at it.

Just seems ot be a group that we enjoy and have so much fun with .GRIn Actually we have found this age group to be a tad more wild then the younger group who seem to be more showey. Thye definitely are more accepting as to different ideas of where, when, how, and who.They seem not afraid to try different then what they may wish for.
