We don't think of ourselves as "Seniors" - and most people cannot believe our ages.....we think & act much younger than our biological years! Keeping fit, eating healthy and having a "young" attitude (listening to "today's" music, shoping in the young men's/women's section, keeping up with the current trends) - all help to stay/be young!

When are you considered Senior?
------------------------------- When you refer to yourself as such! I plan on being young beyond my years for many, many years to come. Kinda like when do you stop being a newbie....when you stop calling yourself one! ItsBeen! |

To greekandme, Welcome to the Forums!
Since we are fairly new to the lifestyle it seems counter-intuitive to say we're seniors. We must surely be freshmen or sophomores at the most! |

It's when the waitress give you the senior discount without asking.
It's when you get up in the morning and hear the snap, crackle and pop in your neck every time you move your head. |

Hmmm. I think you're considered to be a "senior" when you're retired and the Social Security checks start coming, and when you start eating your evening meal at 4:00 p.m. to catch those "early bird" specials!

You're considered 'senior' when you get "you're too old for us" responses to your emails, regardless of how many birthdays you've seen. Isn't it amazing how many ppl on SLS are under the impression that if you're over 35, you're 'too old'...dead below the waist and between the ears? Yes, people are entitled to their preferences, and playing with someone their parents ages can freak some people. I don't think, though, that when people set their preferences in stone that they really believe that They'll ever be 'too old' themselves soon enough.
