I'm confused. I love sex and I have sex to achieve an orgasm. That's the main goal, and of course pleasing my partner. I think women enjoy knowing that they were a part of a man having an orgasm. Just like guys want to help a woman to have an orgasm. So, what is the point of having an erection that last for hours or days if they do not have an orgasm. It seems frustrating to me. And, many women simply do not like getting fucked for hours on end. I'm all for implants that produce erections that would normally not happen. However, when it comes down to it sex is ultimately about the orgasm. I just can't imagine fucking for an extended amount of time without having an orgasm. Maybe I'm being shallow, but really...at the end I want a fantastic orgasm with out it taking so long that my partner is totally board and whating to run away because her vagina is swollen shut.

Well let me give you my 2 cents on the surgery!! I'm diabetic, had cancer twice (prostate and then residual up my spine) and on top a heart attack. Don't think I'm obese or a body abuser either... I was 12 years in the military, in great shape and never a drug user or abuse alcohol. I'm basically a well behaved man with bad genes. haha !! Just a year ago after going through all these health problems during the last 5 years I had the whole 1500 installed ( it means I had an AMS 700 & AMS 800 - Sphincter & Implant system installed ) I was wearing diapers for incontinence and didn't have any erections for 4 years... I tried every pill, injections & devices ... no luck and painful as hell !! through my doctors at Penn I met a doctor by the name of Bill Jafee... he is a miracle worker and the best in the business... sorry for the advertisement but true is true... people are right to say that is a steep recovery and that it takes a lot of patience and care to get back to quasi-normal after the surgery but is TOTALLY WORTH IT !! I have great erections... whenever I want them and if you want to talk about hard...that thing has 100psi .. amazing. My wife & I have a sex life again and even though I lost ejaculation from the cancer surgery, I last longer and the climax is explosive and better than ever. BTW our swinging partners are amazed and the ladies love it. Just find the right doctor if you are doing this... in the right place and with the right treatment I will save your life and sanity... Good luck !!!

I posted earlier about my implant but I also wanted others that are considering this device that it is surgery. I did not feel that the implant surgery was very bad as I have had 12 orthopedic surgeries that were much more invasive. Surely, I have more metal in me than some of the new cars but the implant is the one that allows me to really enjoy sex and I absolutely love sex! I can function almost as well as any 35 year old man!

I've had mine for 5+ years and I'm very happy with it. Still, it's only for those with serious functional problems. I can become erect whenever I choose and stay up for any period, but it NEVER will be as good as the natural way with a hit of Viagra. It's a very bad idea to think you'll have a more impressive tool. Only consider an implant if it's a necessary thing.

I had a prostatectomy in '05 and spent 5 years trying to get by. I grew to be unhappy with my urologist/surgeon who didn't use a scope or nerve-saving technique. He referred me to a guy who sold me a vacuum pump that was functionally useless and a waste of cash- for reasons explained in other posts. With guidance from a new doc, I was successful with the shots. I had good erections that lasted four hours, but that does get a bit uncomfortable, and the official instructions were one use in 24 hours. I was tempted a few times to use it again at all day parties. I won't say I was lucky to only have attended a few parties where it might matter.

In my experience, the implant erection is smaller and softer than any erection I ever had pre-surgery. It's worse than 100% of my real, pre-surgery erections, but I love it dearly because it means I can have something very close to real sex. Even jerking off works well because of the implant. the saline reservoir is in my abdomen, the pump is in my scrotum- looks a bit like an extra testicle. It doesn't happen often, but a few women have asked at parties to feel it and see how it works. Not embarrassing at all. Any opportunity to have my stuff handled and caressed is a good thing.

Had mine in January of this year. On the whole, I am pleased with the result. It absolutely allows your penis to be rigid enough for penetration. Some downsides such as if you forget to put it down, your penis will stick out which may or may not be what you want. As for me, after I had my prostate removed 7 years ago I ended up TOTALLY impotent and my penis had receded back into my body which was very depressing. Pills, shots etc were all useless. I am enjoying the fact that I can now function any time and for as long as I want and I kind of like the fact that my penis is always hard. NOTE WELL: There will be a fair amount of discomfort after the surgery. Now, due to the fact that I am married to a woman who thinks that Cooking and Fucking are two small towns in China, I have joined SLS in hopes of meeting people who might actually like sex and give me the opportunity to take it on the road. Best, Will

Just had one implanted the end of Jun '15 still a bit uncomfortable but getting better each get cleared in early Aug so I'm ready. It's been 4+ years since last sexual contact. Used the vacuum pump and it worked but just when the Lady is ready you have to stop pump it up put on the ring (painful) and by then she's cooled off a bit. Plus with the ring you can only go for 30 minutes.

As a woman who enjoys the company of men in my age range I have been with two men who have implants. I must agree with other poster - they are not all created equal - do your research.
