We observe an interesting pattern as the world emerges from the pandemic--we have gotten a handful of messages from seniors new to SLS and new generally to alternative lifestyles. A common theme among the profiles and the notes that we have received is "want to see whether this right for us" layered over an appreciation that life is a lot more fragile than it was perceived prior to the pandemic.
We offer a general response: welcome. Everyone was new at one point, and the LS embraces people from all walks of life at all stages of their lives. One of the luxuries of being a senior, especially an empty nester: no one is really concerned about the choices you make except you.
