After 50, age is just a number. We are still going strong. That is, when we can find compatible partners. We've found that we have to travel to find them and on occasion they have traveled to see us. It's an effort in time, energy and even money, but it's worth it. Keep on swingin'.

Welcome to the forums. Your best bet might be to click the groups link and network in finding the right group/party that will suit your needs. Single males in general have a tough go of it as it is, seemingly like already one strike against you. There is room for most everyone in this lifestyle, finding your niche is the key. Best of luck to you.

Even if i was in my 40's i would perfer older woman or couple, better looking and sexier. The way the young one 's dress and carry on not very sexy to me , re sluty like. Beening old and gray would not change a thing , so wake up you older folks let's party. Still here and silly, injoying life. Oh someone say something about a place for us older folks mmmm will someone start one .

As we posted once before (maybe in here) we just "found" each other and the lifestyle...we aren't about to quit now!!!

Our issue is that we apparently haven't put away our rose colored glasses...seems like everyone we write to is either too rude to respond, looking for clones of their mates or they are Barbie searching for Ken!!!

We're not fugly...at least we hope not and there sure seems to be plenty of us, so it shouldn't be so hard to find playmates...why don't we search out a venue for us "oldsters"???

We agree with Jim buthave also found that time seems to be getting away from us. We thought that at this age we would have more time to ourselves but it is just the opposite. With Grandchildren and still working along with some loss of energy we just seem to be busy all the time. Plus we just can't handle the late night anymore. And yes we have lost contact with most of our old friends from the lifestyle.

I suspect that you've probably nailed it, VaLovers. I wish there were a site or forum just for 50+ cpls (no young hardbodies allowed) to meet & mingle, but haven't yet uncovered it. We've formed a traveling house party group here, limited to cpls 50+, and seem to be growing nicely. We also go out to supper together monthly, just dining and visiting. I wonder if that'd work for others in our situation?

Too bad we aren't just a Bit closer, would enjoy making your acquaintance some time. :-)

Live Long and Prosper!

We are hanging in there in our 60s, but we can understand why others do not. First, the older you get, the harder it is to stay reasonably fit, and the ravages of time make you less attractive than when you were young. So the number of people interested in you decreases accordingly.

Second, many of our former playmates have dropped out of swinging. Often it's because they retire and move away. In other cases it's the result of illnesses. Probably more often than we know, it's because the husband experiences erectile disfunction, and even viagra can't cure the psychological impact of fearing you can't perform.

We still have a few playmate couples who are in their 60s and/or late 50s. As long as all of us remain healthy, we expect this to continue.

But the truth is, when you're our age, it's much more difficult to replace your playmate friends who drop out with new couples. There's a smaller pool of "players" to choose from, and as you all know, it's only a minority of swinging couple you meet that you both feel like playing with.

So we treasure the couples who are still our playmates, and we have stopped searching for couples younger than age 60.

Old swingers never die, they just look like they did! LOL
