Original Starting post for this thread:
It is getting harder all the time to find good senior couples -- we like to stay within reasonable distance of our ages -- and in the last couple of years, several couples we know have dropped out. Age, health issues, loss of interest, etc., etc. We are interested in hearing from other seniors who are considering it, or are happy to hang in there at some reduced level of play -- perhaps just remaining friendly with others in the LS for the sake of the companionship --without the sexual component. Thoughts, anyone?

"What dose Fun Ahoy and the previous post have in common? They both missed their period."

What dose are you on? This is the old timers section; I'm post-menopausal.

Why drop out? While your having fun just do it. Age is just a number. There is more than one way to get off that goes for both women and men.

"I keep humping Very Big Grin"

Who is Very Big Grin, and is he/she okay with you posting this publicly?

When I am in the jar or box, why quit, as long as the boys keep working, I keep humping Very Big Grin . that's my take on this subject.

We'll "drop out of the lifestyle" when we drop dead. Our approach to the swinging lifestyle is that we've added the Possibility of non-spousal sexual activity to our lives together...not the Expectation of sex. To "drop out", we'd have to remove that possibility from our lives...and that's not going to happen. We may not play as often or as energetically as in years past, but we will continue to play with our friends as long as everyone is alive and willing. :-)

Well, from my perspective, hopefully never, not to say that the type of play won't change as time goes on....

Sundance, since we'll see you in a couple of months, that's good to hear that one can keep right on ... uh... TRUCKing (yeah, that it, "sounds like" trucking) with LS partners until the end. We just expect to enjoy whatever comes up as long as it comes up, so prepare to add a few more to your playtime!
