Original Starting post for this thread:
It is getting harder all the time to find good senior couples -- we like to stay within reasonable distance of our ages -- and in the last couple of years, several couples we know have dropped out. Age, health issues, loss of interest, etc., etc. We are interested in hearing from other seniors who are considering it, or are happy to hang in there at some reduced level of play -- perhaps just remaining friendly with others in the LS for the sake of the companionship --without the sexual component. Thoughts, anyone?

Old swingers never die. They just peter out.

Why drop out we feel it only gets better. Its the quality not the quantity of sex. Slow down and enjoy it.

We have found that as we have gotten older, we are more interested in more quality than quantity. That being said, we are in a location with many many senior people in the lifestyle and younger ones (under 50) that embrace the senior community and are not averse to playing with us. At 70 we are still going strong and look forward to many more years of sexual adventure with the help of the miracles of modern medicine now . We have friends in their mid 80s still playing.

the prob with that, Trophy, is that -- as bad as we get -- there will always be someone in worse shape willing to have a go with us!

We started in Chicago the "year of the shuffle" 1985. Its part of who we are now
after all these years. Dee, at 61, is still very attractive and much younger men
pursue her. She's got a great attitude and we're very relaxed which helps.

Like golf and tennis I think a seniors tour would be a great idea.

this q&a is itself a great way to meet likeminded / like aged couples...

We tell younger couples to give it a try to see what "older" sex will hold for them.
It works more than you'd think....

Drop out ? Never but there comes a time in one's life where you might not need it as much as you thought you did . i am starting to feel that way due some changes in my personal life ."The be all to end all" back in 2005 does not fit the changes I have made in my life 2012 . But i still have the advantage of a revisit if I choose.
