I know that we are MUCH less inhibited then when we were younger. Part of it is we no longer have a family to tend to and part of it is we are simply more comfortable with sex. Certainly sex is not less enjoyable but it's more routine.

As we age we become more aware that a diff in age and life experiences exist, and we seniors are more into physical and mental satisfaction for the moment and respectful of our companions and more inclined to move on. People change with time. I know I have, compatiblilty is key if it does not fit then quit it. Keep looking for your own climaxes and let others enjoy theirs.

We can feel 20 but we are over 50, I know I am having fun, I have had a couple of girls in their 20's want to sleep with me, I turned them down, don't need the hassle, women over 45 are the best

At last!! Some really good and useful thoughts and suggestions re age and sex and swinging. This is one of the most encouraging threads I have seen on the forums. For future contributions, let me suggest:

I think at 50+ or even some who are younger, we are pretty much past the point where there has to be "perfection" in order to enjoy another person's body. Comfort? Maybe so, but I think there is more to it than just comfort. It's a calmness, maybe, but it's more self-assurance. We aren't as concerned with whether or not everyone in the room is attracted to us. We can talk to anyone and everyone without it being a competition.
Maybe that's a key: we're not competing, we're just having a blast no matter what. Gina |
