Mischief - I thought that mono was caused by the Epstein Barr virus. Are you saying that Epstein Barr is a form of Herpes?? I'm confused. Just wondering...especially since I recently had what appeared to be mono but never went back after the initial week of it to be tested.

Mono kicked my ass in college. It gave me
hepatitis. I was ill for a month. It hit me just as school was ending. Taking 7 finals in 5 days probably lowered my immune system. I find viruses interesting....from a distance. ;) The coming plaque is a very interesting book. peace! Errr. Piece. Mischief |

Very interesting. I never knew that. Mischief, sometimes your depth of knowledge amazes me. I had mono, the 'kissing disease,' in High School. But, maybe that exposure to Herpes is why I seem to have an immunity to getting a cold sore. Never had one in my life. |

It has those hard rings..and cost. (western blotter) a new form of LSD. LM-70's-AO Western Blot is the test. There are MANY herpes viruses. 8-10 or more. I haven't kept up. Most don't have sores. HSV-1 doesn't "turn into" HSV-2. It's HSV-1 below the belt. There is a couple of differences between HSV-1 and HSV-2..but not enough to discuss. Either way bare backing, doing it raw, is not taking advantage of the protection out there. Why is it men always want to bareback. THAT amazes me. Mischief w/latex |

I feel that when with others to use condoms and dental dam. I always hear of condoms but not dental dam use. Why is this? Can't you get something from the girl too?

Tell the women you LAST LONGER with a condom on. That's why you like them. They won't complain. ***** Regarding HIV risks. Whoever ends up with the semen has the risk. Semen depositors have much less risk. There's no need to be paranoid. Respect is the key. I've used gloves when I had cuts on my finger. It's not that hard to avoid HIV. It only requires firm boundaries. I've changed my practices over the years to reflect the change in who, how, and what puts me at greater risk. Be safe. Have fun. Much Mischief |
