As I have been in the long term care industry all my adult life I have not seen one case of Std's of any sort , the most common illnesses are CHF (heart ) and copd (lungs) add in a few liver issues .Perhaps the partying is worse for you than the playing.

So while we are on shocker topics how about this for size? While in nursing school i learned that the second largest group of people infected with STDs is the elderly. I was knocked out of my seat when i heard this but the explanation given made a lot of sense. This group of people didn't have to worry about safe sex when they were younger. They were raised to be with one partner and that was their spouse. If they were widowed or became divorced in their golden years they were uneducated on the risks of unsafe sex.

The 15-24yo age bracket is rife with STDs.
The recommendation is that young women get checked every 6 months...for that reason. |
