While in theory "The Green New Deal" sounds great in practicality it doesn't work until the adequate infrastructure is put in place. For example "Electric Cars", I recently went to an auto show where electric vehicles were featured -- and yes the ones I saw were gorgeous not only in esthetics but in technology. However, the problem with these vehicles is that the adequate infrastructure is not there to support them. If you were to buy a fully electric vehicle right now (As The Government Wants) there are very few to no charging stations anywhere. I do a lot of driving and I've yet to see either a charging station or even a charging pump at a regular gas station. So, until Pete Budajudge (The Transportation Secretary) stops suking dick and focuses more attention to the infrastructure needs Electric Vehicles are pretty much dead!
