Come on man it's not that serious, there are plenty of "Christians" who had done terrible things, Just because Hitler may have shared some of your belief system, doesn't reflect on how you live your life does it?

I mean do you think that he would have had any chance of gaining any kind of international support for his madness had he came out and railed against religion, especially Christianity? Sounds like a typical politician saying one thing to one crowd then saying something else to another. His actions should show that he was anything but Christian, of course that would depend on your view of Christians to begin with. BTW Christ was a Rabbi in the Jewish faith, he never called himself a Christian. That religion was established well after his death.

User Details are only visible to members.	Maybe Hitler understood that he needed to maintain "public relations" and used divisions between Christians and Jews to his advantage. Hitler was not a Christian, he may have been a Hypocrite. This sounds more likely than him being a "devote" Christian.

He used God as the Islamofascist are using their God as an excuse for murder.Sorry dont subscibe to that particular religion. Hitler was a liar and a hypocrite and used religion to suite his needs for power. Nothing Christian about that.

But the young college kids, who tend to skip history class or else have it taught to them by professors who prefer history books that reflect their own views, would never see the absurdity in making statements like that. Anyone who had studied Hitler and his sick and twisted mind and actions, could not compare any U.S political party or politician to this man. He was pure evil who sought to kill an entire race of people. The Right in this country may have many faults, but they don't even begin to approach the level of danger that the 3rd Reicht posed. At worst they can be annoying and separated from the mainstream, much like the left in many ways, but they also fuel many of the values that drives our military. You can't take Christianity out of the U.S Military, it is a core component of the American Value system. The Left seems bent on either molding Christians into a PC image or railing against "Organized Religion" when Christians stick to their guns and stand up for their beliefs. Of course you don't hear many "Organized Religion" protesters criticizing Islam. I guess it's easy to act tough when you don't have to fear a "Fatoh" being put on your ass..........

When I was growing up, my Elementary, Junior High and High School all taught that Hitler was born into a Roman Catholic environment, but as a young man rejected same. Approximately 2 years ago one of my fellow Masters students, who was working on her Masters in International Relations, did a paper on Hitler. I went through my notes of her oral & power point presentation and used the book references and found these quotes by Hitler: The book "Hitler's Secret Conversations" 1941-1944 published by Farrar, Straus and Young, Inc., first edition, 1953. The book was published in Britain under the title, "Hitler's Table Talk 1941-1944". This is also the title of the Oxford University Press paperback edition in the United States. All of these are quotes from Adolf Hitler: Night of 11th-12th July, 1941: "National Socialism and religion cannot exist together.... The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.... Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things." 10th October, 1941, midday: "Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature.
