There is no other way to understand those words. Mandatory buybacks is confiscation. Then their fienstiens bill, and a few from N Y that want to outlaw the monster black guns and actually take them out of citizens hands..... Yes confiscation pure and simple.....

Who is the "you" in "you are trying to disarm"? Since this is the opening post, you can't be replying to someone I am blocked from seeing. Is this "you" a Duck, or a voice in your head? Since you name Obama, I can only guess you think he is trying to disarm someone. He's trying to get laws passed that allow fewer guns to reach the hands of criminals. If you feel threatened by this, we can only conclude that you are either a criminal, a sympathizer , or someone who makes money by trafficking guns to criminals.

Robert, Please explain to me how the numbers do not apply, or how the death is not as bad, or how a murder isn't quit a murderer because they are in or around gangs. Dead is dead. Use all the words you want but what I said is absolutely true. You are still trying to find excuses to make this numerical truth not so loud and uncomfortable to the Obama team players. Try reading the books and writings of Ward Connerly. There are takers and makers in this country and that is where the divide will come in this country if we fall into another armed conflict.

What I said was absolutely true....... Just because you do not like it doesn't diminish it in any way. You can go and get the numbers and add them up for yourself if you like to make sure they are not manipulated. Many have before you and have their own excuses as to why.

User Details are only visible to members.	Do you know that there is a law on the books that it was enforced could stop a great number of the straws purchases. Why not start with that first. I'll give you a clue so you can look it up. Try multiple purchases of firearms in a month.

User Details are only visible to members.	You don't arm the criminal in the first place. Current laws, or lack of law, makes it easy to buy guns without background checks. A criminal may buy guns privately, or a straw buyer may buy them and sell to the criminal. Gun trafficking accounts for a large percentage of the guns that find their way to crime scenes. Criminals are very happy with the lack of background checks and weak trafficking laws.

User Details are only visible to members.	A general statement... Sadly true in the fact that it is gang activity which kills so many and that the gangs mostly operate in the cities. The general public doesn't want to go around armed all the time. No public in the entire history of humanity has ever done this, not even the rednecks in your part of the US go around so armed. Now why do we make stupid laws that don't do anything to fix the problem? easy. It is easier to try and ban guns than it is to accept that the larger the population center, the more socialist and communist that population must become. The cost of living is too high in the cities for minimum wage to sustain anyone without socialist programs like welfare and employers like living large so they don't pay a fair wage for the cost of livin and work provided. Why don't the people in the cities leave them for the county? Because they already do this. At least those with the means to do so, most have neither the means nor the skills to simply get up and leave. Complacating the problem, city folk have family which they don't want to leave. This means they have anchors. Those living in the country side are use to living miles from friends and family... It would be like forcing you to live in a dense city when your closest neighbor use to live three miles away. Simply put. Gangs grow when people are impovished, without direction and no sense of self worth. The only way to change this is to provide these things and that is trough meaningful work. Not working as a means to survive, but work which brings meaning to their lives.
