GWB is an American Hero, not like the lib traitor commies the left has that should be hung for their traitorous activities!

Sorry that is all I can say since sappo/jnm (same profile)got me turned in and warned for hurting their little feewilings. Free speech is only allowed for lib's.

To return to the thread topic: I see Bush doing down as one of the 5-7 worst presidents in American history.

But he's done such damage to the Conservative/GOP cause that his presidency may turn out to be what makes it possible for America to elect a man as intelligent and wise as Obama in 2008 as President.

Patogether:

Saddam had proved himself to be a brutal tyrant before 1980, and Reagan-Bush did ally themselves with Saddam during the Reagan Presidency.

Any comment on that choice of friends?

Destin:

So what are the key things GW Bush has done that makes him an American hero in your eyes?

Frankly, I don't see him that way, but I'm curious to understand why you see him as a hero.

I measure by American heroes as presidents by the standards of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR.

Where does Bush rank in your list of great presidents of the United States of America?

I'll bet that Desty has all those canned responses he comes up with on macro keys.

Ctrl-1 is about Hillary

Ctrl-2 is about Obama

Would save him a lot of typing...

Sappless, how many times are you going to bring this up?

Who Cares? What bearing does it have on the present day? NONE

Ronald Reagan is dead and he did at the time what he felt is necessary, just like President George Bush.

President Bush, and the rest of us do NOT answer to you!

debjack:

Did Reagan ally himself and America with Saddam during the 1980s when Reagan was president?

Yes or No.

debjack:

So was Saddam paying out money to militants when Reagan-Bush were allying with him and Rumsfeld was meeting with him to help him?

Don't you want to know if Saddam was funding terrorists while Reagan was becoming his bosom buddy in the Middle East.

Saddam has already proven himself to be a brutal tyrant before 1980, but that didn't keep Reagan from allying himself and America with Saddam.
