How could such a thing have happened, whereas former 'Classical Liberal Virtues' such as the firm belief in God, Country, Moral Values, Individual Liberty, and Personal Freedom that became so hijacked, and so perverted by an intolerant band of coercive Leftist Modern Liberal Fascists?

Today they are well represented in the Modern Democrat Party Congressional Leadership, throwbacks from a 1960's era of a spoiled generational children who were well provided for by their parents, given the best educations, the best opportunities, and graced with as much materialism that their parents could afford, and sometimes could not afford.

These Modern Liberal Fascists share no such resemblances to Classical Liberalism, or the old Democrat Party structure. In fact, the contemporary Democrat Party Fascist Modernists of today demand the control of people, thoughts, markets, perceptions, and seek to increase the power, and size of the Government over everybodys lives.

They have subverted the truth regarding the founding fathers of America and the Constitution and its history, in an effort to re-interpret the Constitution, and to slowly transform America into a 'Collectivist State' apparatus for the so called 'Betterment of the Working Classes' that today sounds more reminiscent of Marxist symbolism than it does of honorable old classical liberal values.

Over the decades America has witnessed a bankrupt amoral and hostile attitude from 'The Democrat Party Left' for any forces in America who advocated, or dared oppose the world-wide Communist/Socialist/Marxist scourge that thought to impose itself all over the World, and within the sphere of the North American continent.

Modern Democrat Party Liberal Socialists, their Liberal Activist Courts, their friendly Communist Agitators and Litigators in the anti-American A.C.L.U., the Liberal Socialist Academia intelligencia, and even the leftovers from the Communist Party U.S.A.

It is my belief that 'IF' the American people at large knew of the depth and scope of the REAL belief systems of the Modern Democrat Party Liberal Socialists, and their attempted sedition, and their identified domestic bedfellows, and their international connections ..they would seldom win any national elections in America.

Is it any wonder whatsoever as to 'why' many Modern Liberal Socialists, and some of their select Democrat Party Congressional masters LUST to control the Internet, and its information flow today?

Liberalism’s distortions of the normal ability to reason can only be understood as the product of psychopathology. So extravagant are the patterns of thinking, emoting, behaving and relating that characterize the liberal mind that its relentless protests and demands become understandable only as disorders of the psyche. The modern liberal mind, its distorted perceptions and its destructive agenda are the product of disturbed personalities. As is the case in all personality disturbance, defects of this type represent serious failures in development processes. Dr. Lyle H. Rossiter

In America, long before Marx was born, there were Americans calling upon people to use tax money to provide for the general welfare and help the poor. The Constitution itself declares a commitment to "promote the general welfare." LOL your killin me/

DestinFla: Calling Frank Davis the childhood mentor of Barack Obama is far-fetched. Horne does not use these words in his essay about Obama and his connection to Davis.

Horne writes, "In his best selling memoir ‘Dreams of my Father’, the author speaks warmly of an older black poet, he identifies simply as "Frank" as being a decisive influence in helping him to find his present identity as an African-American....."

Obama says the poet was an influence in helping him find his present identity as an African-American. To call him a mentor is stretching it. If you want to charge Obama with being a communist or Marxist, cite his speeches, his own words, his policies, and explain why they are based in Marxism or communist policy.

Thomas Jefferson was all for legislation that overcome inequalities of property and John Winthrop, a Puritan quoted by Reagan, called for the rich to care for the poor or "to abridge our superfluities for the supplies of others necessities." Do you want to call Jefferson and John Winthrop communists.

In America, long before Marx was born, there were Americans calling upon people to use tax money to provide for the general welfare and help the poor. The Constitution itself declares a commitment to "promote the general welfare."

What is the most communistic aspect, in your view, in Obama's platform and policies. Cite a speech or check out his positions on the website "On the Issues" and report back to us.

By the way, Obama was a professor of constitutional law, not Marxism. I hope you don't find community organizing to be just a Marxist thing. Remember the colonists did some effective community organizing to bring us a Revolution.

US Communist Leader on Backing the Democrats

Hot off the Communist Party USA website CPUSA leader Sam Webb on why the Communists and their allies are desperate to elect a Democratic Party President and Congress.

Why Do The Communists Back Barack?

I'm getting a bit worried about Democratic US presidential hopeful, Barack Obama.

First a senior US communist, Gerald Horne, writes an article in the CPUSA's "Political Affairs" explaining that Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis was a member of the Communist Party.

Now it turns out that the Communist Party USA campaigned to elect Obama to the US Senate in 2004.

What does the CPUSA know about Barack Obama that the rest of America doesn't?

"Further proof, the courses in high school math and many other subjects are being offered much later in their lives than when we were in school."

This is an incorrect statement. 10-20% of high school seniors complete calculus before graduation. 30 years ago, when I was in high school, calculus was not offered in high school.

Standards have generally increased across the board. Google your local school district and look in their website under state standards.

The reason that you know more about the "failing" schools is because the information is more accessible. I just finished a quick study for a local school district. I was able to take all of the juniors and seniors for the past ten years and track them into all the community colleges in the state. Did the standard demographics, class loads, persistence rates, etc. 60,000 students and over 2.5 million records. Took me about 4 hours total. Even 10 years ago, this would not have been possible given any amount of time.

It is my contention that the schools are doing about as well as they were when I went there 30 years ago. But it is so much easier to compile and analyze, we are finding things that we didn't back then...

debjack I don't really see where we disagree on this issue. Sure the teachers may have a high and mighty attitude when it comes to what they think are the right and wrong things to teach. But I bet most of those teachers would rather argue with a parent rather than wonder where the fuck they are when that kid starts to act out or flunk out in their class room. Those teachers who don't value parental involvement in their child's education should be weeded out. I applauded your dedication to your children's education. More parents need to take that initiative, damn what the teachers say or think. The parents are the boss period. Those who don't have the time need to network with parents like you. It's time for people to get off their islands and live in communities again.

Sappho I gave you real life Effects of afirmative action on real people and real families. I could care less what some liberal "professor"? has to say or what they think. The pain of reverse discrimination is real and it hurts the ideals of what we are about. All Men are Created Equal apparently NOT!!!!

Actually I Debjack I lay the blame for all that squarely with the Parents. If you are "too busy" to be involved in your kid's education and don't get to know your kids teachers and talk to your kids about what they are learning in school then, you have no right to complain. We need to start advocating personal responsibility when it comes to our children's education. Tell kids that they are responsible for studying and making their education their top priority, that means taking away the fucking X-Box and cell phones and making them work. Parents need to network with other parents to cover the slack if they have jobs that don't allow them to be as active in their child's education. If parents could learn to work together the keep their kids in line, instead of complaining together when something happens at their school. It all falls back on the people. The educational system was never meant to raise our kids, parents have seeded that responsibility to the schools. So the only ones who can fix our kids are the parents. I personally think it should be a crime not to be involved in your kid's education, we have a very steady and pervasive form of neglect going on in this country, parents are letting kids veg out in front of the tv and computer and not even checking to see if they had homework. WTF?
