Maybe Romney is that billionaire relative that Mickey was always bragging about?
The pieces start to fit...... Micky and Fjep are cousins. Their dads must be Romney's brother..... Which make RobMe their rich uncle! |

"... more inane than Obama's "you didn't build it" comment..."
What Obama said: "Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen." Poor paragraph construction, at worst. Knowing the context, it's obvious what is being said. Out of context, the meaning is reversed. It's "inane" to deliberately misunderstand this, but some people specialize in misunderstanding the obvious. |

But then, if Obama found a way to stop world hunger, the right would cry that he ruined the farm equipment industry...

"the wealth is not taken from the middle class to the poor, it is taken from the rich and upper middle class."
So, he's still just making up whatever facts he wants, I see. The trend toward concentration of wealth at the top has gained momentum in the past few decades. But I'd hate for facts to get in the way of his pronouncements. |

correction:
..except, according to Romney, that what was right for the Mass government to impose is something that would NOT be right for the Fed government to impose. Proud papa. |

Yes, FJ's latest pearl of wisdom does seem worthy of the Hall of Inane:
"the wealth is not taken from the middle class to the poor, it is taken from the rich and upper middle class. Hospitals survive on donations from the wealthy, many are subsidizing government payments with insurance payments. Insurance companies payout considerably more for the same procedures as government programs. My heart surgery bill and insurance payment were double what the government pays. The rich are who makes this country run, if they pack up and leave or close down business we are fucked." |

A distinction without a difference, it seems, but more importantly a false argument because Romney had previously went on the record urging Congress to adopt Romneycare. What proud father would abandon his baby just to gain favor with the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity? |

"The rich are who makes this country run"
He has me blocked so I can't see his entire post. But that statement is far more inane than Obama's "you didn't build it" comment, even taken out of context. |
