Except that you forgot this little thing called apartheid, which only stopped around 1994. So if that is your idea of freedom is segregation... as it was in the US during the 1800s... Uncontrolled capitalism lead to uncontrolled greed, uncontrolled greed lead to slavery of our fellow man... I'll sooner doom all of humanity to extinction than to abide slavery. At the least we may die with our heads held high and proud. South Africa also has social welfare programs, mostly paid for by richer nations who have taken piety upon the South Africans. So I am guessing that your 1800s capitalism model is to accept social welfare from the world? Development comes in stages, and just because you have a socialist or communist system, doesn't mean that you don't have freedom. Socialism/communism both do allow for freedom of Religion, to keep and bear arms, to trade and or buy/sell goods and services. What Socialism and communism doesn't all is for there to be no safety net, no bottom to the pits of dispare that greedy fucks would throw people into.

He buys kydex and with some simple tools turns out IWB holsters for $80, each holster costs him $20 to make. There is a skill out there if he just looks for it, and instead of wasting his time looking less than social on here, he could be earning money. There is good money in stitching heavy leather belts, it is something Robert could do at work. Hell he could probably get $20 an hour at a truck stop changing oil and changing tires, instead of sitting on his butt at a low paying security job. Our truck stop starts at $16 an hour, just to see if they will stick around.

We were not poor but not wealthy, we never had new cars or as much as some. But we had more than others. Honestly if I was his age still I would not be on here. At his age I was more focused on my children and how many times I could fuck my wife. When I was younger and single I was fucking every woman that was hot that I made a connection with. I was a greedy asshole. I had a FFL back then and I bought guns from importers and sold them for double what I bought them for. I also worked on guns, tuning most of the local PDs revolvers and a few revolvers. Plus I still cut meat and worked in a slaughter house on days off. I probably worked to much, but I was greedy, I needed the money so I could buy stuff and resell it, mostly guns, and leather rigs I built. I just can't understand Bobby's whining and excuses. Age is no excuse for being lazy.

You rolled Capitalism in with communism, socialism and just plain dictatorships. Look at what the Country of South Africa is doing today. South Africa is the only country in all of Africa to follow the model of 1800's USA model of Capitalism. All other countries of Africa have been forced to follow the Social/communism or dictator models of government. South Africa is the one and only country in Africa that is achieving true first world wealth. Through out it's nation. Is there some poverty? Sure. But the poverty found in South Africa is no where near the destitute poverty of mass starving peoples found in the rest of Africa.

Even though I am greedy I am also satisfied with what I have. And if I was poor, I would still be greedy and be satisfied. A person doesn't have to have all the latest toys, and the fanciest foods to be happy. BUT those who die with the most WINS! Think I will build another toy, 1911. I also found a source for some Star(Spanish) Super A in good condition. Not sure I want to buy them for 200 though. I used to buy them for 100 and sell them for 200. Thinking of buying a case of Tok(Czech) 58's and reselling them. God I love buying guns made in other countries. Bobby can kiss my backside, Greed is good!

First of all I believe in the free market. However Capitalism in it's purest sense, with no restrictions whatsoever, which is what I was replying to, is just as dangerous as any other form of Government. There is no doubt in my mind that if today all restrictions were removed there would be hundreds of fires like the above. You think that just because it happened a century ago GREED is no longer in play? Have you seen some of the working conditions of third world countries that are set up and run by Americans? The GREEDY SOB"S do it because they know they can get away with it, be it today, yesterday or tomorrow.

All have a number of commonalities. 1) They all are controlled by a few people. 2) Can be corrupted by these few people. 3) Can make any excuse to kill any number of people, for any reason. 4) Can ban Freedom under the guise of what ever play's to the peoples fears. But if you want an example of murderous actions by capitalist countries. What was the Native Americans? and why didn't we continue the Royal Proclamation of 1763 under a new name and treaty so to promote the mutual beneficial trade and relations... Rather than raping and pillaging their lands? What was the Slave trade? What was the US vs Korean war and how was the communist Koreans a threat to the US? What was Vietnam and how were they a threat to the US? Why did we cock block the Japanese before their bombing of Peril harbor? If you what something that is modern day? What is the US prison system? And why aren't we investing money into preventing the desperation that drives normally moral people into criminal acts or slightly weaker minded people towards drugs out of the desperation of Capitalism? Why aren't you blind Capitalist able to understand that less than 70% of the human population are going to be sheep that will never have the personal strength to be anything else? But will still desire a living which is above the third world? More importantly, if Capitalism is so grand, why isn't this product selling itself? Capitalism is about selling a surperior product at the best price possible. Your competition is the government, the only body which is able to compete with you. So start competing or stop crying. Competing isn't wiping the lesser, it is creating a net by which that person will still contribute to society but will not fall any further and become more of a drain on society. If you can not create such a net, such a minimum standard... then you can not compete in todays world and thus should accept your fate, the fate of all systems which could not compete... Extinction.
