He never voted to authorize the Prez to go to War. But it wouldn't bother me a bit to see Hillary et. al. brought up on charges... "How are all these people going to get prosecuted?" Re-open Nuremberg .......

The likelihood of Bush being charged for war crimes has the same probabilities of Destin and Debjack voting for JMN for President. Those comments are so out of whack it's ridiculously stupid. But I will entertain the stupidity. If Bush gets charged with war crimes, do you realize that those same crimes would be applied to all members of congress (except Barbara Lee of California) and all Senators serving when the votes were cast? Moreover, war crimes would also apply to all international leaders from England, Spain, Italy, Australia etc.. (France and Russia would be exempted.) How are all these people going to get prosecuted?

When he had to give his take on the war and the current progress, people were bashing him! Why? Do you really think that he's out there trying to make a slop job of Iraq? Every soldier/sailor is his responsibility. The last thing he wants is to lose them at the least. That's like you being sent to clean a bathroom. You're gonna clean it right the first time to prevent from going in there again, even if you were given a toothbrush and a pack of sani-wipes. Would you waste all your wipes before you're finished? Not to mention, you wouldn't want anyone judging your job when this is what you have to work with right?

I am of the opinion that this administration has committed crimes for which they should be prosecuted. But the political will is lacking. So it will never happen. Bush will get off scot-free and go live in his ranch down in South America.

User Details are only visible to members.	My sentiments exactly. It is nauseating that in a country supposed of, by, and for the people that a megalomaniac could attain high office. But it's not the first time, and in all probability won't be the last. This country has a history of it. It's inherent to the system so thoroughly propped up, built in, and ingrained in every person from birth.

User Details are only visible to members.	Declaring an illegitimate war against a sovereign nation under trumped up charges of WMDs is a war crime in most people's eyes. Problem is no criminal is ever brought to trial in the absence of proper authorities bringing him to justice. As long as the tyrant controls the bigger guns, he can't lose, hence, can't be charged or brought to justice. In any event, Dubya will have to bare the burden placed upon him by history. His place as a tyrant in the historical tomb is sealed for all future generations to read for all times to come.
