| Would war bonds would it make this war easier to swallow?Just a question? Would you buy some? If conserving fuel was required would you abide? During WWII these were events that led us to victory against the other Axis powers. So with that said. what do yeah think? |

Being fully opposed to this war at this point, I personally would not do *anything* to prolong a lost cause.

War bonds are still borrowing. And someone is going to have to pay them off with higher taxes in the future. "Would you buy some?" Depends on the interest rate and tax advantages. "If conserving fuel was required would you abide?" I wouldn't break the law, if that's your question. Then again, manditory fuel conservation would have probably caused Bush's defeat in 2004, and the Republican Party damn well knows it. |
