I wonder if you look at previous prices at at the pump where when oil was at the same price if it would be the same as now. I'm guessing it was lower.

Well, with oil down to $80 a barrell, and Gas at $3.00 a gallon, that's 50 cents a gallon better than last year at this time. For me, I fill up about 3 times a month, avg 16 gallons, so, I'm saving about $24 a month. My wife, about the same, so we're close to $50 a month. Sure glad Obama wasn't able to stop Fracking! I can't wait to hear him claim how he made these real savings possible?

I'm waiting for one of them to promise a better than average income for everyone when they are elected. I'm sure that would make them popular.

Both conservative and liberal groups are already running ads blaming Obama or Repubulicans for the Ebola situation. Ugh.

Maybe we should add a middle name for our President. How does Barack Hypocrisy Obama sound? BHO! BOO! If we had automatic statistics, I wonder what his lifetime score of lies per hour would be?

On Tuesday, the President said in an email:

"If Republicans win, we know who they’ll be fighting for...... Once again, the interests of billionaires will come before the needs of the middle class."

He then attended a $32,000 a plate fundraiser at the home of a billionaire.

Bonus: The billionaire's name is Rich Richman.

I'm totally serious.

You cannot change my views, because you are not men who stand for anything beyond yourselves.

You use capitalism like a whip, to beat those you think weaker than you. You use devaluing terms against those you fear have stronger convictions than you. You lack conviction in your own ideals, because you cannot act beyond your own self interest, much less understand that it is in your own interest to provide for the masses a living wage.

You are a coward, because you stand alone.

You guys are right. I'm going to get off of Bobbilooser. There was, strangely, some fleeting satisfaction from trying to talk some sense into that boilerplate brain he has. But, enough is enough. It's a loosing cause.

Justus:

Quit your childish whinning. Your generation ran up the debts against this nations credit card, took loans, went to war without a way of paying those debts off in your lifetime.

What moral lessons do you think this teaches? Seriously. If you think your generation is so superior, tell me what lesson in financial responsibility has your generation taught mine?

Your economic system has failed to reduce the need of the welfare state. Instead your system expanded the number of people on welfare, lowered the value in working, and made it such that the only way to enter into college... Is through more debt, more reliance on the government you so hate.

Everything your generation has done, has lead the people to rely more, not less upon the government.

My ideals of taxing the poverty wage paying employer, for the cost of welfare paid to his/her employees IS more capitalist than the system your generation has left mine.

My ideals of ending all war until we have our debts paid off, is more capitalist than more war without a means of paying the debts off.

My ideals of taxing us all, such that we paid off the 17 trillion dollar debt, before my generations kids become adults... Is a capitalist ideal of paying down your debts.

Now, which one of us is the capitalist, and which one of us is the socialist? The man demanding that we make poverty wage employers pay for the damage they cause, or the one shrugging that cost onto others? The man who demands we pay for the wars we want to fight, or the one handing their kids the debt? The man who wants to pay off the debts and give his kids a clean credit card, a debt free home, and a nice car? Or the man who wants to be remembered as the coward who couldn't live up to his own ideals and gave the house to the bank who he owed a mountain of debt to?
