But out there in the non-government worker world there is a principle whereby a president telling untruths about a subject such as going to war on false pretenses is the highest order of treason. There are people who view Wilson's actions as heroic. If Bush thinks he would serve his interests by insisting on Plame's or Wilson's prosecution he could have that. And you would get Hillary to office a few minutes faster. You guys confuse yourself about what you think you should get away with and that is why you have lost your advantage. That is the point. And when she stopped being an agent she had no cover to be blown. The truth is she and her husband blew her own cover. To break the law she would have to have been an Active Official Cover Agent. She managed to publish her book which was all along her plan as a business woman to make money. The President did nothing wrong Plame and Wilson did. If the libtards keep pushing it, those two may answer to charges yet. Wilson can certainly be charged with interfering with international policy.

Another point I want to make is an active agent, does not make official comments on an ongoing investigation, without proper authority, or permission, This was violated by Plame if she was still active. And whether married or not she was bound not to discuss her findings if any with her husband, let alone anybody else. When you are an operative you serve at the service of the President of the United States. This is not the same as you or me. There are proper protocols to be followed and Wilson did not follow them and attempted to out the President. He and his wife should be brought up on charges. This is the same for the members of the military.
