I'm not as 'up' on Bloomberg as I used to be because I'm not in the city doing business every day.

I'm not thrilled with a lot of his social positions or his ignoring the term limits he set himself. On the plus side he is fiscally 'adept' but has been given a pass by the liberals on a lot of the social programs he cut to do that. I also have a lot of NYPD friends and what he is supporting with stop and frisk is about to blow up the rank and file. The beat cops hate it and are being forced to "do 250's" and violate civil and constitutional rights, to the detriment of their own safety and effectiveness. They won't stand for it for much longer.

Other than that, he's not on my ballot anymore...

If he tries to run again I hope someone kneecaps him....

Sexual:

The businesses we have today, both large and small exist only because the tax payer bails them out. From write offs to subsadized laborers. This is assentially corporate/business socialism/communism.

So until businesses choose to not accept write offs, they hold a social responsibility to pay a wage to their workers which allow their lowest workers have a family, and either save for education or to set down roots.

This is how you have a strong economy, people who can become rooted in a community doing a realitively mundan job... But is able to spend money to ensure others are employed. Without this security, without this being the minimum, you beat get use to paying more in social welfare as we take this mull ride to the bottom of our tower built above the clouds.

Since Wicked Willard wants to be The Boss, not the representative head of a Republic with a democratic form of elections, his interest must be secretly hidden. Knowing his history gives insight to his future conduct.

Willard would be a vulture capitalist with a vulturous Congress. Only the Ta Party sheeple and WealthCare vassals believe that the Constitution of the USA is a vulture capitalist manifesto.

Any 'metrics' that consider the opinions of vulture capitalist sheeple are skewed. The sheeple will be shorn and skewered. Kabobbed. Kaboozled. The Tea Party bus is a WealtCare diner on wheels.

Ghost,

What are your thoughts on Mayor Bloomberg? (I know off topic, but I'd be curious to hear your thoughts)

I want a President, not a boss.

I'll vote for Obama

Besides, his attitude about China, if carried to where he says he wants to go is incredibly dangerous.

"But I refuse to vote for someone who scares the hell out of me,"

It seems that Romney in the state that he Governed is down by 20 points in the polls. One would think if he did such a great job (was not his state's economy around 47th when he left) one would think his numbers would be a lot higher. In fact he should be leading and that scares the hell out of me. He tanked Mass. and he will tank the US, given the chance. Tank you for reading this. :-)

Estrogen with a shot of testosterone I guess (I've always said I think I have more than my fair share).

When it hits home, as it does here (my son's business has taken such a hit in the last 4 years that he is trying to sell it, and wrote a great piece on FB on why he is voting for Romney/Ryan. It was a SENSIBLE piece and well said), then you take a closer look at the pros and cons and make an informed decision. Nothing is perfect in politics. we all can admit that, with no "perfect" candidate. But I refuse to vote for someone who scares the hell out of me, did four years ago when elected (for economical reasons, as well as foreign policy reasons), and will again if elected in a couple weeks.

I don't always post in these threads, not out of FEAR of someone saying something as backlash (I wouldn't post at all in ANY forum thread if I was that wimpy), but when I'm not read up on something like I think I should be, I will read all the posts first. Sometimes they warrant comment, most times they warrant a WTF and an ignore. We all know we are not going to change each others' minds. That's okay. But sometimes you just have to say SOMETHING when something is deemed so outrageous or stupid. Or when it's something you believe strongly enough to risk that aforementioned backlash. I don't care, this needs to be addressed.

Party on.

A great many of those ppl you spoke of filed multiple bankruptcies.

Some, we're so great, that they pitched business ventures to others.... Who were holding the bag as ole Donnie Trump slipped out of it and "re-organized".

What about creditors and property owners that get the short end of the stick when tennants and debtors head for the hills? I lost additional time, leave time, money, TIME..... Going to court to remove a squatter. Judge gave her 3 more weeks and told me that I "won". I saw no cash.... Only a damaged house.

I repaired and sold it. Was not even thinking of walking away, VA loan or not..... Still have good standing for VA loans.

Cue Curt Shilling..... In 3....2.....1......

His ass is back in the espn game booth.

Once a strong repub who beat his chest and rang the bell at the NYSE.

Lost every reportable nickel from the baseball days, and sought a bail out.

Is he still a republican?

Heard of all of the Repubs who publicly denounced bail outs, by off camera, had hands in shapes of cups?
