The radicals on the right say let sequester happen. These radicals hate big government, (yet want a strong military) they love defense spending (because they like to have a big phallus.) the right thinks the economy ought to be driven only by what you can pry out of its cold dead hands. You live in a dream world. These sequesters will get worst, as it stands now, government employees are losing work days. My father will now be working 4 out of 5 work days... That is about 2,000 USD lost. Money which will not be invested into the economy and thus driving demand. If I were a business man, a lowered drive for services and products tells me that I must cut my employees. That means I am laying them off. This leads to a ballooning unemployment number. Maybe 1 in 10,000 will start their own business... Not likely. It will likely be 1 in 1,000,000 will start their own business and 1/100 will survive the first three years. (it use to be 1/10) So where does this lead us? More cuts. Why? Because the tax base is smaller and shrinking. That means our navy is down sized from 5 operational fleets to 4 then 3,... The army looses... The entire DoD loses. What happens then? GE, lockeheed Martian and other contractors lose. They cut better paid employees, they don't contribute to the tax base, the government must cut more, make the people suffer more. History has shown us what the end result of this is and it isn't good. We won't be able to keep turkey, iran and other elements in line. They will likely move and destroy their enemies while we are using our military here to put out the fires in our back yard. The end result will be the third great depression. The first was after WWI, the second just before WWII and now the third will be WWIII (aka, the global war on terror) What happened with both great depressions? We became more leftist, we almost went socialist. So if you don't want socialism, accept that you the employer must pay your employees more, you must eliminate the need for social welfare. Sequester will only dig you a taller hole to climb out of and push the US into abandoning our military (at least in the short term) and pushing the US as a majority to the left. Like our national business model, you are thinking in the short term. That is why you fail. Think you are fighting Obama? Think you are teaching the left a lesson? Think again. We have become use to living on less, you will be brought down long before we scream uncle.

In the long struggle for worker rights, our country has some less than noble examples of employee abuse. Health coverage that amounts to: "If your health fails you, you are gone". Subsistence (or lower) wages that ensure you'll never be able to purchase a good car or home, nor go back to school. With the exponential growth of income disparity since the Reagan era, the US may have passed the tipping point; we may be headed irreversibly to a caste society of peons and uber-rich. Any resistance to this hellish future is often called "socialism", or "marxism", or "fascism".

Even Robert is dissed upon by the liberals in this forum. They know that acceptance of a person like him reflects upon them as a whole. The LP leadership does not seem to care that wackos and racists are speaking for them. Until they can distance themselves from these people the LP will never be more than 1% of the registered voters. Even though most liberals and conservatives agree with one or more of the libertarian ideals.

The crazy anarchists have attached themselves to the party because nobody else will accept or tolerate them.
