Va:
When that profit margin causes the government to create social welfare, you bet you gave the government the right to dictate to you what is the minimum you must pay. |

Sweet Ron Paul openly accepted money from stormfront. No other party accepts them the way the libertarian party does. Even Robert is dissed upon by the liberals in this forum. They know that acceptance of a person like him reflects upon them as a whole. The LP leadership does not seem to care that wackos and racists are speaking for them. Until they can distance themselves from these people the LP will never be more than 1% of the registered voters. Even though most liberals and conservatives agree with one or more of the libertarian ideals.

No not all of them, but there are a bunch of wackos in the party that are very vocal. I agree a lot with libertarian principals, except for foreign policy.
The crazy anarchists have attached themselves to the party because nobody else will accept or tolerate them. |

If the US had been founded as a libertarian country, there would be nothing left here but ashes.

"Would it be wrong for government to impose some limits on margins in that situation? "
In my opinion, the answer to this question is always yes. Some others have philosophical differences. |

Government is not setting profit margins in any of my businesses, thankfully. But in some cases my business is derived from licenses to natural resources. Would it be wrong for government to impose some limits on margins in that situation?
