Anti-science members of the Republican party are effectively immune to emerging evidence. This actually facilitates their rise to positions of prominence (can't call it Leadership) within the party.
It's a fact that people do appreciate government services. One has to be blind to this fact to preach that government is a bane on citizens' lives. |

Now you hold the position that I held pre election, where I was expressing the very same thing, while the Lefties were doing their darnest to paint the entire Right in the same light. Don't like it, eh? neither do I.

Nothing is ever everything.
There is a significant portion of the current crop (gaggle, mob, herd) of Republican legislators that don't understand, or believe in, biology, evolution, history, economics, and a whole host of other things that have been settled for decades or more. There might be a few on the Democratic side that hold similar views, however their numbers are relatively minuscule. |
