"Salvation Army, Purple Heart, Goodwill, Red Cross, WIC programs, free/reduced breakfast and lunch, section 8, Churches tax free, foster parent programs, Big Brother/Sister Programs, free meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas, homeless shelters....
Yeah, We are Bleeding Heart Liberals.... But, we could end these and hundreds of other programs for you selfish conservatives...." All but WIC are Privately funded. Or funded by local and state Gov. |

The premise behind Gay rights and all minority rights are good liberal ideas...but the liberal policy/implementation hasn't been very effective. I'd say the Liberals have created as much resentment as they've curtailed.
