Boehner and the Boys Choir are singing a one-song score that has lost favore with their national audience, and Cantor has no dynamic voice or glitter as lead singer of the Republican't manage America choir.

Marshall p69 wants the role of Rooster Cogburn in the third remake of True Grit, but has challengers.

It's a world of bad theater for the Republic-con House of Misrepresentation and the posse vomittatus of PA.

"The two parties are pushing sharply different agendas to bring down the jobless rate."

Republicans: Lower taxes, less restrictions, people doing good with more money in their pocket.

Democrats: More taxes, more Gov't, more Gov't jobs, less freedom.

Can anyone really be stupid enough to side with the Dumbocrats???

The unemployment rate rose to 9.2 percent as employers hired the fewest number of workers in nine months.

Obama is eager to bring the jobless rate down ahead of the November 2012 election, which will largely hinge on how Americans feel about the economy.

The two parties are pushing sharply different agendas to bring down the jobless rate.

Boehner and other Republicans have passed bills in the House that would scale back regulations and encourage more domestic oil and gas production. They say any tax increases would further dampen the economy.

"It just does not make sense for Americans to suffer under higher taxes in an economy like this," said Representative Eric Cantor, the No. 2 House Republican.

Democrats fear the sharp spending cuts advocated by Republicans as part of any deficit reduction deal would further weaken the economy.

Senate Democratic leaders have proposed ramping up highway construction, subsidizing green energy industries, and extending a payroll tax cut due to expire at the end of this year. Those measures would worsen budget deficits and make it harder for negotiators to reach their $4 trillion goal.

White House economic adviser Austan Goolsbee said the jobs report showed the need for the budget deal to include new tax revenue and job-creation measures as well as spending cuts.

Priapus, We welcome you to the forums and to the "engagement" it provides. Keep in mind what you're here for and don't let forum ideas or responses deter you. Frankly, the political forum is a minefield and you will find that people will call you names, attack your position, and try to make you think you are an IDIOT for ever thinking whatever it is you thought. Don't sweat it. Small thinking people will show who they are in time. Taking the high road it very difficult but pays off in time. The same people post here over and over and, frankly, how much influence do they have in the entire election process? You are forewarned. We DO wish you well in your sexual involvements and passions which is why you joined Swinglifestyle in the first place! J+L

I didn't say it was a bad thing. Just a statement of what is going on.

However it (motel prices) are a bad thing if you travel from MN to visit family and friends, or pass through on your way someplace. Then you find it virtually impossible to find a room in areas where you always had your pick of motels and rooms.

It is an excellent thing for ND residents. Home values up, jobs everyehere... I've heard ND has more millionaires per capita than anywherer else due to the recent energy boom.

Kicking myself for not buying a house there several years ago. A house that that I looked at that sold for $15,000 when I had the opportunity (5 or 6 years ago?) sold again a few months ago for $92,000.

8 you should not bring Akron's wife into this, you complain about name calling but then talk of a member's wife. BTW have you forgot your diseased blanket comments you made to me in the past? Hypocrite!

Why is it that when ppl don't agree, and it's usually the right, that they want to call ppl idots, and other names, and grade-school level quips, such as Libtards? If someone doesn't agree with your view or "facts", they don't and they won't. Calling them an idiot for not agreeing with you is on the level of taking your ball or bat and going home cuz you didn't agree with a call in the game.

What does it solve?

Akron, the wife is very nice looking. But... the name-calling and such takes away from that. I mean, do ppl actually ask about political views before deciding to play or mingle at M/G's?

No you, but ppl that are into the multiple thousand posts -- don't you get tired of posting? Nobody is gonna change their view or vote of a party by reading these posts. Why say something that insults a potential party host or play partner? Is it really worth it?

"What an idiot"

That's your standard answer AH for anyone that does not agree with your world. There is no doubt that if you were an adult living in Nazi Germany you would have worked your way up to Hitler's inner circle. Sieg Heil. Have a nice BHO Day. Another day of your life to live pissed off.

Sweet, the economic situation in ND is due in large part to energy related jobs- specifically oil. The influx of workers foe those jobs means more jobs for other goods and services that those employees desire. Housing, is up, service jobs are up. Just try and get a motel room somewhere in ND now- you will pay higher rates than you do in LA and NY for a comparable room.

Supply and demand...
