A March report by the president’s Council of Economic Advisers estimated that between 2.5 million and 3.6 million jobs were created or saved by the stimulus through the fourth quarter of 2010. Separately, the council’s report cited four independent analyses by the Congressional Budget Office and three private economic analysis companies. Here’s what the groups found: CBO: Between 1.3 million and 3.6 million jobs saved or created. IHS/Global Insight: 2.45 million jobs saved or created. Macroeconomic Advisers: 2.3 million jobs saved or created. Moody’s Economy dot com: 2.5 million jobs saved or created. The Boehner/Cantor Choir represents falsity and illusion. ZZ

User Details are only visible to members.	In the past couple of days ZZ reported on a Tea Party guy who took a back door route to spending taxpayer money. As a fiscal conservative I agree with him and no longer consider that particular person a viable leader. Same with Boener (sp?) the GOP house speaker. He's an establishment guy and also part of the problem. It would be nice if ZZ would meet us half way in admitting the large amount of entitlement spending is financially unsustainable. If we look at the poverty rate over the last 40 years it has gotten no better. If we also look at the way the educational system dollars have been managed we can see there too its gotten worse. That money would have been better spent on energy independence and infrastructure improvements and changes to the educational system that hold folks accountable for results. At least then the country would be in better shape.

But, if some ppl MUST live their life thru a forum, so be it. And, I didn't realize that I said anything bad about anyone's wife..... saying that they look nice, but their words detract/deter is putting them down and name-calling? This is Romper Room Madness. Ppl complaining everyday about politics that they have yet to figure out? Go to the booth, pull your lever, push the button of your favorite color. Feel better now? I'm sure all crime, poverty, and the such disappear as soon as your favorite party's in office. The whole world is better when "your" party is in office -- esp sense you won't jump onto the forums to complain about your party's candidates or incumb's actions or party's decisions.

All across America, voters know that the House of Republicans does not represent the interests of the middle class who voted for them in the past elections. It It Weren't For Republican WealthCare and Pork Barrel Appropriations, the Republican Party Would Have No Economic Plan at All When the good people of South Dakota voted last month [November 2010] to send Republican Kristi Noem to Congress, they probably believed that she would give no quarter to the lobbyists and special interest groups who enjoyed, as she put it, “throwing money at the feet of a member of Congress.” But since she defeated Democratic Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (in part by making an issue of Herseth Sandlin’s marriage to a lobbyist), Noem has hired her new chief of staff from . . . a lobbying firm! And on Tuesday afternoon, she was the guest of honor at a “Meet & Greet” with Washington high-rollers at the powerhouse lobbying firm Barbour Griffiths Rogers. Once these boys start throwing money at Noem’s feet, she’ll soon be chin deep in lobbyist greenbacks. It was probably inevitable that the Tea Party activists would be betrayed, but the speed with which congressional Republicans have reverted to business-as-usual has been impressive. House Republican leaders rejected a Tea Party-backed candidate as the new chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, instead installing Hal Rogers of Kentucky, who is known as the “Prince of Pork” and who once said pork is a “bad word for making good things happen.”

Republic-cons need to control their sheeple or they will lose their militionaire and billionaire ranches south of the border.
